I've got to give it up for Crimebuster. He's always been an indispensable part of our community who has contributed so much time and talent in making this place as rich as it can possibly be, he's friendly, funny, and rounds out our collective knowledge base with his extensive explorations of classic humor and romance titles, but, beyond even that, the CCF Podcast has become my absolute favorite aspect of this community in Year 3, giving actual voices to members for the first time, as well as some truly entertaining and enlightening off-the-cuff explorations into comic book history. Once more, he's made the CCF a far better place than it ever could have been without him.

Wow. This is the hardest one of all.
mrjupiter
He doesn't post as much as others but I like his posts. He just seems like a really nice guy with kind words for all. Same as Captain Jim.

So many great choices, including the aforementioned candidates. I honestly have a shortlist of about half a dozen names, all on an equal footing. But as there can be only one...
I want to nominate The Captain, an ever-friendly poster whose writing as demonstrated in the Captain America review thread, whose level-headed opinions in the highly flammable politics thread, and whose multiple contributions make him a pillar of this community.

Don't know if it's kosher to second and nominate in the same post, but what the hey.
I second RR's nomination of The Captain, a thoughtful, cheerful, down-to-earth person whose Captain America reviews are notable for their humor and affection for the character, no matter how execrable the story he's critiquing.
I would also like to nominate Roquefort Raider, who is knowledgeable, perceptive, articulate, assertive, and incisive, but is also unfailingly respectful, gracious, and temperate.
His range is vast. He created a Savage Sword of Conan review thread that is staggeringly thorough and erudite, and can pivot to a heady and equally erudite discussion of economics in the Politics thread, knock you out with Bras d'Orion, and then finish with a flourish anywhere from the Book Review thread to Meanwhile. The guy's like a pitcher with a top-notch, fastball, curve, slider and screwball. (That's really, really good, if you're not a baseball type.)
Vive Roquefort Raider!

I nominate Prince Hal. He's ever present , posting often and seems to have a spirit that is the goal of this forum. I'ver never seen him embroiled in any messy disagreements and He's created threads that are compelling. Hey, he seems to win the Cover contest every week too. Good dude, in my book.

I'll nominate impulse. He's always friendly and helpful, and his comic recommendations have convinced me to try what are now some of my favorite books.
