I'd like to nominate Tolworthy, whose site on the Fantastic Four as the Great American Novel is an endless delight.

I've only recently gotten to know tarkintino outside of the Star Wars threads, but he definitely has a wealth of knowledge to offer. I feel I'm continually learning from him in my own review threads.

I know it's the obvious choice, but I nominate Cei-U!. Not only does he seemingly know everything about old American funny books, but he manages the tricky balancing act of simultaneously being incredibly generous with sharing his knowledge and enriching our discussions, without ever once coming across like a know-it-all smart arse.

I'll second Cei-U... he's really like the Mike Trout of this category.. he really should win every year, and we all know it, but we're nice and let other people get in there once in a while.
I'd also like to add I appreciate his insights even more now that I know he makes his living (to an extent) on that knowledge... the time and care he shares with us is truly appreciated!

Let's just call it the Cei-u award and give it to someone else every year.

I nominate Mrp because besides knowing some funny book knowledge, he knows a lot about the retail and wholesale sides of the comic sales . It adds a lot to conversations.

I would like nominate Confessor for his Tintin/Herge thread and he's very understandable and makes it very real for me to enjoy his works. I just can't believe that I already have 11 Tintin Books at home and I spent an average of $7 per book from my LCS in the past 2 months ... thankfully ... I've used my Senior Citizen's Discount on them. Confessor, made it very real, relatable, and easy to understand the work that Herge puts into it.
