archiecomics.com/yourpalarchie/ The new title that will debut this July is called Your Pal Archie. It will feature the more classic artwork, but inspired by the Riverdale TV show. The stories seem like they will be lighter in tone and funny. Looking forward to checking this out!

A big thumbs up and YAY for this. If you call yourself Archie Comics with decades of "classic" style comic books that everyone has grown up with then there should be at least one ongoing with the original classic style. Having Parent and Templeton on board guarantee's it holding a place in my monthly shopping list.

What a wondrous change has occurred in the universe when many of us are now buying more Archie titles than Marvel or DC. Though i do hope nobody is trade waiting on the collected Betty and Veronica?

Based on the first issue & upcoming solicits...each issue will have 2 new stories. At least one of the stories will continue into the next issue. @mrjupiter Reggie appears in #2.

I was really looking forward to this last week but my store did not get its copies. Hopefully I will be able to read it this week. Looking forward to Reggie in issue 2.

Your Pal Archie is a very popular book and it's was sold out in the first three days and hopefully later in August that I will get a copy of it. Man, this is a hot book and believe me it's a hard book to find these days and I even went to another LCS and it's was too.
So, I reserved a copy in late August to get it and I'm having it mailed to my home address.

The way Archie Comics described it & what it was is a bit different. Basically it is the classic Archie we all know in story content. The art is updated with the looks of the Riverdale cast filtered thru Dan Parent's pencils.
Very light in tone. The first issue had Archie teaching Jughead to drive & in another story Archie wins the lottery.
