Dear Fellow CCFers,
Due to highly inappropriate comments made in the Modern Comics section last night, the mods and I have come to the conclusion that the only sensible reaction to the level of hostility we have viewed on the boards as of late is a complete and total forum-wide reset beginning tonight at 8pm EST. All existing threads will be deleted, and the forum will compress into three simple sections that will be easier for the moderators to patrol.
These will include:
Modern Comics Discussion
TV / Film / Video Game Discussion
Classic Comics / Fan Fiction Discussion
It is our opinion that compacting into these three streamlined sections will make the CCF a website that is more conducive to simple conversation that does not get bogged down in detail, which leads to disagreement, which leads to frustration and outburst.
In other unrelated news, I am currently in talks with Valnet about rebranding The CCF under their corporate banner in order to bring you fresh new content about the latest news occurring in the comic book industry. Expect a total site redesign coming soon. All told, it looks to be a brave new world for the Cool Comics Forum (trademark and new url are in the works!).
