Justice League of America #3 Orlando/Neves/Jose and Deering
'The Extremists: Part 3'
In between issues (or maybe last issue when I wasn't paying attention) Havoc took over a small pretend Eastern European country. The League goes there to help, and while they're convincing the freedom fighters (who seem like a big, organized movement.. more than they should be), Havoc makes friends with all his neighbors. The JLA take out his Extremists, so the rebels can fight, but Havoc doesn't care, since he just took over 5 other countries without fighting. To be continued!
Meh... this doesn't feel like the Justice League at all...the team is a bit like the "Task Force" days, but without any ties to the past... Batman just isn't enough of a JLA staple to me to make this feel like the Justice League.
The issue itself harkens back to the silver age... each hero does to a spot and fights one villain.. only they all win right away. Between middle-of-the-story blahs and not a great story to begin with, very skippable.
