First off, I want to offer a heartfelt thanks to everyone who responded within the past 20 hours, offering various ways to help share some of the responsibilities for running and promoting this site. It's very gratifying to me to know that it doesn't rest solely on me to keep the CCF vibrant and growing. Thank you.
So, announcement time:
First, the biggie. I have promoted mrp to be my co-administrator. The sheer number of times he has jumped in when things got messy and made the right call under pressure and with the clock ticking have proven he's at least as capable as I am of making the big decisions, if not moreso. mrp isn't assuming additional responsibilities, per se, but if there's a problem from now on, mrp's decision on the matter carries as much weight as my own, and he's fully authorized to do any and everything necessary for the good of the site in my absence, so I suggest you begin sacrificing your best calf to him now

Next, our staff has grown by two. bronzeagebrian has assumed responsibility for maintaining the front page as our very own CCF Front Page Guru, and you can see he's already done his first update. Personally, I think he's doing a better job than I ever did, and this was his first attempt! Additionally, I'm currently training hondobrode to take over the facebook CCF page as our CCF Social Media Guru and aggressively promote the site there. I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with the page!
Finally, mars had the idea that Instagram might be a venue for promoting the CCF and attracting new high caliber members as well. I don't know a darn thing about Instagram, but if there's anyone out there who would like to toy with a CCF Instagram page/site/whatever-you-call-it, please let me know! Also anyone interested in taking the CCF to twitter.
