We FINALLY get Betty & Veronica #3 (hopefully). In addition to the regular titles we also get a Big Moose One Shot with Script: Sean Ryan, Ryan Cady, Gorf & Art: Thomas Pitilli, Cory Smith, Wilfredo Torres.

I'm still trying to figure out what exactly Archie's doing with it's "Dark Circle" line, all they're promoting/putting out on a semi-regular basis is Black Hood

They've really dropped the ball with Betty and Veronica. Big Moose one shot sounds good!

They've really dropped the ball with Betty and Veronica. Big Moose one shot sounds good! B&V falls right in line with Archie's new announce a monthly series produced by people everyone knows is incapable of producing and then let us all wait. Worked for Sabrina. Worked for Archie Afterlife. Hey why not go for the trifecta? Oh for the grand days when monthly Archie was produced on time with good stories and art. Now i grant that these new Archie are more modern and in tune with current tastes, but the old model worked quite well enough for over 50 years. Still have to admit new Archie has gotten more attention in the last several years and even gotten a television show out of the deal (by the way: anybody check it out last week?) so they must be doing something correct. |

I fondly remember the days of the spinner rack having so many Archie comics-and as you said, produced on time with awesome art....Archie, Archie and Me, Archie's Pals and Gals, Archie's TV Laugh-Out, Jughead, Reggie and Me, Betty and Veronica, Sabrina the Teen-Age Witch, Josie and the Pussycats, Laugh, That Wilkin Boy, Little Archie.....so many great memories! I am planning on watching Riverdale tomorrow night! |
