The CCF Groundhog's Month 2017Beginning February 1st and running throughout the month, we will be opening a special section for our newest annual CCF event: The CCF Groundhog's Month. In the spirit of the Bill Murray film, "Groundhog Day," this will be a month-long opportunity to chase away the winter blahs by revisiting and discussing those stories and runs in your collection that you can't help but choose to experience again and again and again. There's no specific structure to the event. Can you start a review thread for the issues you are re-reading? Yes. Can you more informally discuss them in a general thread? Yes. Can you start polls and ranked lists for favorite runs everyone seems to love re-reading? Yes. Can you type all of this while not wearing pants? Yes...but don't tell us about it. The possibilities are wide open! So use this thread to start musing on which books you'd like to pull out and re-read for this event, and, when you're ready, check out the CCF Groundhogs' Month Section!

I like this idea. Perhaps I will make it a goal to select 5 stories to re-read and see how they hold up compared to when I first read them. I will have to think on this list though over the next few days.

This is great timing, as I'm currently in the middle of my annual reread of Fables. Due to an influx of other books that I want to get to, I may stop at #75 this time instead of running through the entire series, but with a lot of swim meets coming up, the TPBs travel well in a backpack as opposed to trying to cart old Power Man & Iron Fist floppies around.

Every year or so I reread Crisis on infinite earths Infinity Gauntlet Project Pegasus saga from Marvel 2 in one. Issues 59-60.of Marvel Team up X-MEN 125-128 Avengers 159-276 John Byrne's FF run Death in the Family. And in my opinion they all hold up and that's why I read them yearly.

Project Pegasus saga from Marvel 2 in one. I know I've heard this one mentioned here before, but I know nothing about it.

How can you go wrong.
I think it was 6 issues.
I actually need to buy the issues instead of getting TPB from library every year.
