My mom visited for Christmas and brought me this selection of 2 Marvel Scholastic Edition Graphic Novels and the first volume of the Legend of Wonder Woman. It was part of her last order through the Book Club, as she retired this past year.

My copy of Touching Evil Vol. 2 The Phantom Limb by Dan Dougherty arrived this afternoon fulfilling another successful Kickstarter I backed. Now I need to go back and reread Vol. 1 as well. It is a fantastic supernatural thriller/crime drama. -M First I heard of it but sounds like it could be my kind of thing. Couldn't find too many examples of the interior artwork but the one or two pages I did find looked promising enough that I'll probably take a chance on the first volume. Didn't know about the Jodorowsky El Topo sequel(?) either, another one for me to look out for. I'll keep an eye out for it. I remember seeing Kabuki on the shelves back in the day and thinking it looked really nice, visually (excuse the redundancy), but couldn't get a handle on what it was all about as far as the writing was concerned and so never took the plunge.

While I was at the comic book shop earlier today to mostly get a Chronicles of Conan the Barbarian trade, I also bought a couple of newer comics
the new Avengers issues 4 which was a back issue for 5 bucks along with Avengers #23 to catch up a little bit.
Gideon Falls #17 and 21 I think issue 21 is the newest issue so far I think.
was tempted to buy at least Undiscovered Country #1 to read it to see if I like it or whatever

One of mine just before I applied the Covid-19 brakes. This TPB is a Patreon exclusive which features the first 3 Patreon issues which are uncensored. Only 400 copies were printed. This surprised me, is it profitable for any TPB to have such a small press?

Amazing Spider-Man Full Circle came out last year I believe, with a $9.99 cover price.
These were the 2 variants, 1:25 and 1:50. I got the regular covers for about $2.00 each and picked up these 2 for around cover price, which I didn't mind.

Welp since retail opened up on a limited scale here in Ohio on Tuesday, lots of lcs in the area have opened up in some capacity. I made the short trip out to my lcs while I was out getting other essentials today to pick up the last week of Diamond books that were released before the shutdown took place. I picked up the small stack of comics plus the trade for Once and Future by Kieron Gillen (plus some supplies to finish up the reorganization I started with finishing the attic-magazine sized bags and boards, a short box and a magazine box. Din't stay long enough to look around for anything else, just my pulls, but it was nice to buy comics again.

Very late to the game, but I just found out about this today and immediately ordered a copy. Has anyone read it?

Very late to the game, but I just found out about this today and immediately ordered a copy. Has anyone read it? I enjoyed all of the Tales from the Dark Multiverse books. I expect that (at least at one point) the idea is that the next Crisis would feature the regular DCU vs the Dark Multiverse. Whether or not that's still in the cards is completely up in the air with all of the possible changes at DC.

As part of my recent organizing, I had made a list of trades I had purchased that I never followed up on, and made a list of things I'd like to re-visit and get the next one of. One of those was 'The Battles of Bridget Lee: Invasion of Far Fall', which is a YA-themed alien invasion type story by Ethan Young. The 2nd volume(The Miracle Child) expanded greatly on the story and added some interesting stuff, but ended on a cliff hanger, with no mention of it being completed on the author's site (There's a cover on Amazon UK that offered a release date of Feb. 2019 that never happened) so it's a bit of a bust on item #1. At least it was a cheap purchase from Alibris

Don't know what possessed me to throw money away on this. Can't even say it's the art, as the inking/colouring hurts my eyes. But I'll likely do it again if I ever come across Batman: Odyssey.
