So I commissioned Justin Wasson (the artist who did the Ming and Space Ghost sketch covers for me @the Ohio Toy & Comic Show earlier this year) to do a Thundarr commission for me. I am picking it up tomorrow at Champion City Comic Con, but he asked if he could post some process shots of the commission in progress to his Facebook page, and I agreed, so here are some of the pics... comment on the last one was now to let the ink dry and do the colors...so I will see the finished piece tomorrow... -M

And a preview of the colored piece... Show starts in about an hour (it's 10 minutes form my house, so getting ready to leave in a a little while), and I will pick it up there. -M

Very cool art! Appreciate the post. I'm a big Thundarr fan, and am currently going back & re-watching the show on DVD. Very iconic & original early '80's cartoon series. IIRC, there is a dedicated thread on the show somewhere on this site.

That is such a cool commission! I actually like the inked version showing off the details in pencil work and designing that went on underneath. Congratulations on a splendid piece of art
