I too don't like GR's look, but the car is cool and that page is cool as all get out.
Pretty sure it won't be around this time next year.

Wow !
Well I've always liked the character, and anything outside of the Avengers, X-Men franchises is cool by me.
Some article here recently showed how the sales on GR were dropping quite rapidly, but maybe it could turn around on word of mouth.
I hated Ed McGuinness' Superman but suddenly something clicked and I loved it.
I've loved Tradd Moore's work on the couple of Luther Strode limited series he did over at Image.
Also salute Marvel for experimenting and trying different things.
BTW, loving that Mephisto avatar, mrp.

I think shop owners and staff hand selling and recommending with genuine enthusiasm more stuff than Avengers, X-Men, Batman, Justice League, is great for their business and the industry as well.

I agree with some of the above sentiment. The art is cool, the face could have been better.
Also, I thought the car was a cool touch, but I did not expect Ghost Rider to turn into a Fast & Furious import street racing comic. Of course some sort of fad had to spurn the change from motorcycle to car. I like the chopper, the crotch rocket, and the muscle car though. I could do without the horse.

How did you feel about the elephant, the dog-sled and the bear?

I'm not a fan of Marvel Now!'s decimal point numbering...do we really need an Amazing Spider-Man 1.1, 1.2 & 1.3?
The covers are kinda nice but still, the numbering can throw someone of.....

The did the same thing with Iron Man.. they had that 258.1-258.4 mini (which was essentially 'What if Michelinie and Layton stayed through Armor Wars II)... I enjoyed it, but I don't think it sold well. Perhaps since they've already had 'Untold Tales', Chapter One, etc, that ran out of names for retcon series? Though 'Learning to Crawl' would have been just fine, I'd think.

Speaking of Ghost Rider whatever happened to Vengeance?

From what I remember of the Aaron series is that Michael Badilino has lost the Vengeance power and is now a normal human again. Another police-officer, Kowalski, received it and used it in his vendetta against Ghost Rider. He was being manipulated by Zadkiel, the big bad of Aaron's Ghost Rider run the entire time.

Two reboots later and the General Store in Smallville STILL won't cash my check!

I wonder if it does help sales though? The did the same thing with Iron Man.. they had that 258.1-258.4 mini (which was essentially 'What if Michelinie and Layton stayed through Armor Wars II)... I enjoyed it, but I don't think it sold well. Perhaps since they've already had 'Untold Tales', Chapter One, etc, that ran out of names for retcon series? Though 'Learning to Crawl' would have been just fine, I'd think. The July issue of Learning to Crawl (the .# issues of Amazing) was #11 on the Diamond charts for July, just missing the top 10. So I would say the numbering is helping them sell. -M How can you possible know that? I suspect it's more because it's the regular writer, and it has clear tie-ins to the current story. I don't think numbering nonsense effects sales much. Sure, #1s sell more, because people like 'jumping on' points, but to be honest I think most extra sales of #1s are speculators. In 5 years, once it's clear none of these re-boots hold any value, #1s will stop.
