I know most of the Classic Comics people aren't on the West Coast, but if you are, this is one of my favorite comic conventions here in Southern California that aren't SDCC.
LONG BEACH COMIC CON
So far, the guest list is shaping up nicely. I'm super excited to see Mike & Laura Allred. I haven't seen them in about 7/8 years and I'm dying for a sketch from him. Of those announced, I'm excited to meet (and looking for suggestions for stuff to get signed)
Mike & Laura Allred: I have a slew of stuff for him sign. He's one of my favorite Kyle Baker: Maybe bring some Shadows, maybe the Justic Inc mini he did. or the Wednesday Comics HC Dan Brereton: Nocturnals HCs Amanda Conner & Jimmy Palmiotti: I've known Amanda and Jimmy for close to 15 years; we're having dinner the night before the show. She has books for me.... so sweet of her. Bob Layton: not the biggest iron Man, but maybe his Hercules mini he drew. Chris Burnham: some of his Batman & Robin stuff
The artist alley is always fun. There's a few animation people I'm excited to meet as well.
More guests still coming, but thought I'd share.

The site doesn't have any guests announced that I can see. There was a list of names under Artists Alley but the first name I looked up appears to be a blogger, and it says "Artists Alley is presented by" which makes me wonder if they are attending artists or contributors in some other way?

When you enter the site, click on the Long Beach Comic Con logo on top. It should refresh and show everyone's up....or try their Facebook page.

Looks like it's shaping up to be a nice show. I'd love to go some day. Too much on my plate right now. Seems totally worth it to stand in line for Mignola and Templesmith though
