I misread what you were looking for. I haven't found a new threads feature.

Very nice. One thing that might bridge the gap and provide best of both worlds... back at CBR I had my subscribed threads I used to follow, but sometimes they got slow or I was in the mood for something else. Queue the New Posts button. I'm not sure if anyone else here used it, but it shows you all threads from all categories in one bucket sorted by the most recently updated. It was a really good way to find out what the hot topics were, and I found many great threads that way. Is there any way to implement something like that? I know I would use it all the time. On the front page, the right column shows all threads that were recently started or replied to. Beyond that, I don't believe the software has anything that does this. I generally just view any section that shows it has a new post and then look at the topics that are flagged as having new posts to see if any interest me.

The bottom section is Forum Information and Statistics. The top part of that is Threads and Posts. Top line is number of threads and posts, next is Last Updated thread. Below that are links for recent threads (gives you list of all threads with new posts from most recent posted in backwards) and recent posts (gives you list of all recent posts from most recent back). There's also links of RSS feed and to mark all posts as read. The recent posts link should function the same way the CBR option did.... -M

I have now bookmarked this link below my main page bookmark. Anyone who wants to see all of the active post regardless of location can use this, and the forum still benefits from organization. Thanks for tracking this down! I have looked a few times (apparently not very well) and couldn't figure it out.

This is a great solution for anyone who doesn't like the subsections and wants all the threads lumped together. Now you have the option to view them in that way. Thanks much for this, mrp. I was totally unaware that this option existed.

Okay, I'm not too proud to admit when I'm wrong. Now that I've had a week or two to get used to it (and with mrp's "Recent Threads" tip to help with navigation), I like the separation of the Community and Comics boards. I think I'll just trust shax and the other mods from now on... well, until the next time they "screw up." Cei-U! I summon the white flag!

In all seriousness, I was really worried about this decision, and am relieved it's worked out to your satisfaction. Thanks for expressing this. It's a huge weight off of my chest.
