CTS Promotions facebook pageI plan on attending this one, though it is going to be far more toy focused and not really a comic show. If anyone is toy hunting and in the area, take a look, if anyone attends, drop me a line. -M

Looks like this will be the next show I will be attending. Probably not much for the comic scene, but will definitely see some interesting toy stuff. Still figuring budget and priorities.

Wish I'd known about this earlier! I have plans that weekend, but I'll see if I can rearrange them.

The day's haul... A handful of Micronauts stuff, a couple of Batlestar Galactica ships, a classic G.I. Joe Intruder, a Conan figure, a Tarzan 2 pack featurng Dejah Thoriss (didn't even know this line of toys existed), plus some comics and my favorite get, a copy of Superman from the 30s to the 70s complete with dustjacket for just $20. I'll post more pics of the pieces and go into specifics in the What Classic Comics Have You Purchased and Latest Toy acquisition threads. -M

Some pictures from the show from the CTS facebook page... the guy with the beard in the booth on the right is the owner of World's Greatest Comics, a great little shop in the Columbus area, fantastic back issues there. the line to get in... for the early bird pre-sale... later in the day... early pic from during the early bird hour before the general public got in...while shelves are still fully stocked damn they caught me in the act of haggling for some Micronauts with a dealer... lots of stuff... free to play console games... (yay Pitfall one of my all time favorite 2600 games) and free to play arcade games... both part of the video game expo that was part of the show. you can check out CTS facebook for more. They are doing another show in Cincinnati in October (the 23rd I think) but my budget precludes me from going to that one. -M

Looks like an awesome show. I know some of those vendors. Love the free console play idea!
