I love these kinds of stories; with the character viewed by different out side sources, each one painting a different picture.

I love these kinds of stories; with the character viewed by different out side sources, each one painting a different picture. Much as with "Jizo", it's fun to see how important Usagi is when his everyday adventures are viewed from the perspective of an outsider.

Yeah, that he has a reputation through out the land gives it a legendary feel that I really enjoy and I loved the twist ending where it was shown that it was "Jei" attempting to track him down.

Stan gets to show different sides of Usagi through the eyes of others here. The varied stories of folk who have experienced the wandering Ronin provide glimpses to aspects and perspectives of Usagi that might fall to the wayside in a regular story line so it is nice for having these "quiet" spotlights for showing how much Usagi affects the lives of those who encounter him. And remember folks, never take a sword to a fish fight! Usagi's humorous moments during this one are exquisite, especially his remark in tenderizing the octopus
