Here's my first beer of the night. I only bought one cause I couldn't remember if I'd had it before. Delicious. i.imgur.com/oP5YKGN.jpg

I usually only drink if I go to a concert. And that's typically just cranberry juice and vodka. I'm not brand picky.
I'll also drink grocery store wine. I am not ashamed.
I don't drink alcohol enough to be a snob about it. Same with coffee.

Heh drinking's all I could do to get though the Bullet For My Valentine/Avenged Sevenfold concert I took my wife too back in 2011 when they were here. Not my type of music. And Avenged did not even play the one song of theirs I actually like.

Normally, at a show, I just drink to ease myself around a giant room full of strangers who I have to be practically touching the entire time I'm viewing the show. It loosens me up a bit and allows me to actually enjoy the show. Sometimes too much.

I mostly drink Guinness stout if I'm out socially, or gin & tonic, if I'm at home or out on a date. Those are the two mainstays of my drinking habits. My favourite gin is probably Bombay Sapphire, although I also really like Hendricks gin.
I will pretty much drink any spirits really -- whiskey, vodka, bourbon, but definitely not tequila. That stuff is vile! I also like cider and, especially, proper west country scrumpy like you find in Devon and Cornwall. I used to drink a lot more lager when I was young, but these days I find it too gassy and bloating.
I really can't stand wine of any sort though. Hate the stuff! Whether it's red or white, the cheapest plonk or the most expensive bottle going...it all tastes suspiciously like vinegar to me. This also applies to wine-esque beverages like Champagne, pomagne or prosecco. Retched stuff, the lot of it!
I'm also not a fan of proper English ales and beers.

Do they have the other varieties of Guiness over ther Confessor? I've tried a few. And found more and more bars and restaurants serving the "lager" instead of the original.

Not sure what you mean, but over here I've only ever seen regular Guniness and Guiness Extra Cold -- which is the same thing, only chilled, so that the lager drinkers will buy it. Other stouts that I've encountered on a semi-regular basis in pubs over here include Caffrey's, Murphy's and London Stout. The latter is quite rare to find "on tap" in a pub, but it's an absolutely wonderful stout.

Adam's referring to this: www.guinness.com/en-us/our-beers/guinness-blonde-american-lager/Haven't tasted it yet myself; I've been drinking nothing but cider recently.

I don't drink... Tried it in college, didn't like it, don't really get why people do, to be honest. Don't like coffee, either. I stick to Mountain Dew (preferably Voltage)

Pitch Black was great, too. They have it at Speedway in the soda fountain, if they have those near you.

Yeah, I don't think we have that over here. At least, I've not seen it.

There's another one I've bought before and the name isn't coming to me at the moment. But like Murphy's I've only seen it here in 4-pack pint cans. Bedsides what Rob posted these are other Guiness beers here in the US. I've had the black lager (the one that seems be replacing original in most bars & restaurants) and the extra stout. Neither are as good as the original. imgur.com/fgVeJqGI had forgotten about the blonde. Seems an odd direction to go for Guiness, but given the chance to try just one bottle, I'd give it a shot.

Baja Blast was a Taco Bell thing, but last year they did give it a limited release in stores. Maybe Pitch Black will get another chance.
