This one really got me with the twist ending, with the intrigue surrounding Kitsune and the note about the rebellion it felt like the beginning of another epic..only to be the work of a rival oil merchant in order to get the last laugh. It really played against the plots of previous stories to work on the reader and then pull the rug out from under them, which was truly fun.
