As Usagi Yojimbo is filled with memorable supporting characters who are still children, I'm curious to hear folks' thoughts on what Stan might do with them as the story continues to progress. We've already seen both Noriyuki and Jotoro begin to show signs of growing/aging, so what might we expect with these kinds of characters further down the road?

I'm specifically thinking of:

Lord Noriyuki
Jotoro
Gorogoro
Keiko
Kiyoko
Motokazu



Keiko, in particular, fascinates me. I was disappointed to see her still playing a supporting role in "Senso" and would imagine that the extent of emotional damage she has suffered, first with the death of her parents, and now with her travels with Jei, would produce a significantly disturbed villain who might one day prove just as dangerous as Jei (or perhaps ultimately serve as a vessel for him -- maybe that was the intent all along!). I'd love to see more "What if?" future stories for Usagi that would address things like this.
