I changed my avatar three days earlier to reflect and honor our veterans and I made this avatar last year and I will have it up for a period of 7-10 days for all of us to reflect and honor their service. If we have any veterans of ARMED SERVICES here ... I wanted to say this ... Thanks for your sacrifice and honor ... I really appreciate that.

The worst condiment man created is mayonaise!
There I said it!
(And ketchup isn't far behind.)

Well, thanks for the appreciation, even if those are Army insignia (ex-Naval officer, here). Hope everyone honored them by going out and voting. We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution and it only works if the citizens get involved in the process.

Give me plain old Heinz salad cream any day of the week. When, I go out to eat ... I tell the restaurant do not put mayo on my Hanburgers, Cheeseburgers, and any other sandwiches that they serve because that stuff just kills me and makes me sick. I'm more a mustard and relish person ...

I rarely use condiments at all these days. I found they rarely contribute anything significant to my food and often mask its true flavor. So, the occasional Safeco Field hot dog with mustard notwithstanding, I stay away from ketchup, mayo, mustard, relish, etc. Even when I order from Subway, I get it with oil & vinegar instead of condiments. I save money and cut out empty calories.
Cei-U! I summon the nutritional noodling!

Good to see another squid around here, even if you were an officer (I was enlisted). But seriously, you're right on target. We served in the military, but everyone else can serve our country too by voting.

I put ketchup on my fries and burgers...got to have it on them. Chili sauce is a nice substitute for ketchup. I use it on alot of things.
Mayo I can only tolerate in small doses.
Hot dogs are gross. So you won't see me putting anything on them. Or eating them for that matter.

I was a midshipman from 1984-88, commissioned officer from 88 to 92, serving on the USS Jesse L Brown and COMDESRON 4; came through the NROTC program, so not a ringknocker, from Canoe U.

I'm more a mustard and relish person ... I've only relatively recently discovered the joys of American mustard, thanks to my fiancée. In fact we had some just about an hour ago on some Quorn vegetarian hot dogs...delicious! I like French or Dijon mustard a lot too. English mustard, however, while looking deceptively like American mustard, is fearsomely hot and will strip the flesh from the inside of your mouth without any trouble at all. I try to avoid it at all costs.

I bet I would like this, if I ever found a reason to use it.
