It's very nice, but with all this debate about whether superhero comics are mainstream or not anymore, I actually kind of like them not being that mainstream, and this makes them look mighty official and "acceptable, maybe a tad too much

I think it's beautiful, and it's neat and organized! I love it. I probably won't be doing this with any of my collections, but I had really, really, REALLY thought about it at one time.

A friend of mine actually does this himself at home. He gets all the materials he needs and does it own his own. It's cheaper this way too. I could never really see myself having my comics binded though...I just couldn't bear to have them cut up. I admit though that it looks really nice all collected and binded.

I almost went through with something like this with my Hellboy books but with the Library editions that Dark Horse put out scratching a that itch I backed out. Someday I still might do it, as I'd like to bind it from an in story chronological order similar to how I'm doing my reviews but that won't be for a while yet.
