Certainly the show had flaws like most 10 year old shows do. I enjoyed the soap opera aspect of the Highschool setting. It reminded me of Spider-man in many ways.

The only Smallville I watched was the one with the three original LSH members, which was fun but not enough to get me to commit to what would obviously be a huge time sink.

Strange that's pretty much all I ever saw of it myself. I think seeing a Legion character made me not flip to the next station like I probably did other times.

I vaguely recall watching the pilot. There was also an episode where Clark ran into a very bratty Barry Allen with his Flash powers

The only Smallvile episode I ever sought out was the one with the JSA. Otherwise, I had zero interest in the show (or for Lois& Clark)). Not sure why, exactly.
Cei-U! I summon the indifference!

Superman TAS from the Timmverse is actually very good. And utilizes KIRBY concepts quite splendidly showing that the King is eternal. It had a shaky start, though. The first block of episodes struggled to find the right tone for things and story quality varies quite a bit. Once they saw the Kirby stuff was working and started recognizing the elements that audiences liked and held up well, they started to really gel. The two-part "Apokalips Now" is just a thing of beauty and a true tribute to the memory and talent of Jack Kirby, both in the character of Dan Turpin, who was altered to look like Kirby, to just fully capturing his themes, especially the metaphor for Fascism and the willingness of just one person to stand in defiance as being able to inspire others to do the same. It's no surprise it was written by Mark Evanier, in some of his best work. It was OK compared t most of what we've seen done with the New Gods in the comics but still suffered from the basic problem of the whole thing being watered down by making it a JLA/Superman story. And I'm not at all a fan of Timm's style with those exaggerated top-heavy physiques for the male characters and the comparatively waif-like females.

Smallville was ok. Michael Rosenbaum is a perfect young Lex, and seeing Clark learn to use his powers was cool. But it really had its problems. In the first season the actors were supposed to be high school freshmen, meaning about 14 years old, but they all look like they're 25 at the youngest. When the show came out I didn't notice since teenagers still looked like adults to me at the time, but once I started high school myself the early seasons became distracting with how old the 'kids' were. The Lana romance was also pretty bad. It was a big mistake to spend season after season on the will-they/won't-they dynamic when we all know from the start that they won't. Later seasons benefited from replacing Lana with Lois, but had too much 'he's basically Superman but not really Superman yet.'
STAS is a fantastic show, I'd say a better show than the first 2 seasons of Justice League. There will never be a better representation of Superman's rogue's gallery, especially Darkseid and Toyman. And man did it get deep at times. And it had this.
I adore Lois and Clark. It's corny and outdated now, but it's just so charming. It jumped the shark with the frog-clone wedding fake-out though, so in the last season it lost that special touch.

Wow, first appearance of Miles Morales is going guns....value has ballooned. And to think I bought several of them on a pure whim last year, still sealed in a plastic polywrap with his face covered.
At first I wasn't too keen on any alternate Spidey....as in don't mess with Peter Parker...but I've since stfu and built full runs of both Miles and Spider-Gwen. Both are fun reads.
There, I spun it.

Yeah, like beccabear67 said, the old Spider-Ham books from the 80's are starting to balloon in value too because of Into The Spiderverse. Really need to watch it at some point
IDK, didn't think the Spider-Ham books were all that great as a funny animal book or a superhero title
I think it's good that more people have different versions of the character that they can relate too personally

Smallville was one of my favourite TV shows as a teen/early twenty-something. But then so was Mutant X.
There are a few qualities of the show I still enjoy — the Kents, the Luthors, Chloe, some of the kryptonite variants — but by-and-large, I no longer think it's a good show at all. Also, Tom Welling is the worst Clark Kent ever.

The bizarre thing about the show was how two of the main characters turned to lives of crime in real life.
