The CCF! now has an official facebook page: www.facebook.com/ccfcomics/timelineWe already have an unofficial one created in the early days of the move to this location, but following this new official page will allow you to receive updates about interesting new posts and threads directly on your facebook homepage. This is also a GREAT way to create more publicity for the site. Share interesting posts directly on your timeline, or post it to a friends'. |

IMPORTANT UPDATEThree days in, and we're seeing a lot of short-term increased traffic from facebook, but it isn't sustainable unless people start sharing posts on their own timelines or on friends'. Sharing a post is a million times more helpful in terms of exposure than just liking a post or the page. Please help us get the word out so that we can draw a steady stream of traffic to the site! Also, if you've made a post or thread that you'd like to see spotlighted on the facebook page, shoot me a pm. I'm trying to give attention to anything that is likely to have appeal to outsiders and features well written, quality content. Again, the goal is not to draw thousands of new people, but if we can attract two new highly involved members each month, that would really be something! If you're noticing a slight increase in traffic and a few new active members getting involved here, it once again traces back to facebook. One more quick reminder that, if you have a facebook account, PLEASE share a few CCF posts on yours or a friend's wall. It does so much more to bring us visibility and traffic than simply "liking" the page.
Getting a few new faces here with new perspectives to offer is a very good thing.
