A new comic festival (not con) is launching this week in Columbus, I wish I knew about this earleir as I cannot attend but it looks amazing.
Dylan Horrocks is among other guests I would love to go check out but I am working every day of the festival.

CARTOON CROSSROADS COLUMBUS (CXC) BRINGS WORLD-CLASS COMICS FESTIVAL TO CENTRAL OHIO, OCTOBER 1-3, 2015!
Cartooning superstars Art Spiegelman, Jeff Smith, Kate Beaton, Craig Thompson, Jaime Hernandez, Bill Griffith, Jeff Lemire and Francoise Mouly headline a group of 15 special guests and 45 exhibitors appearing at the first year of a new annual, city-wide comics literary festival focused on reading and enjoying comics, cartoons, graphic novels and webcomics.
“I love Columbus and I love comics,” said Jeff Smith, creator of the popular BONE series of graphic novels and CXC's Festival President and Artistic Director. "I want to bring the two together."
Highlights for CXC 2015 are two separate and star-studded comics expos featuring art and books for sale; an evening of rare, little seen animation masterpieces; a day of panels and presentations featuring world-class comics makers like Lalo Alcaraz, Jeff Lemire and Bill Griffith; a Friday evening show featuring cartooning superstars Kate Beaton, Craig Thompson and Jeff Smith in conversation; and a Saturday evening presentation featuring cultural icons Art Spiegelman and Francoise Mouly speaking on the 35th anniversary of their game-changing RAW Magazine.
"There's something at CXC for everyone, from the merely curious to the devoted fan. We can't wait to introduce the greatest cartoonists in the world to Columbus, and everything amazing about Columbus to the world of comics."
