Of all the comic-related toys that have been solicited, designed, but never produced, which ones do you most wish you had an opportunity to own? As a kid, I remember how excited I was by Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars. I clearly recall flipping through some toy catalog and seeing a solicitation for the Righteous Indignation playset. I was constantly on the lookout for it when at Toys R Us with my mother, but it never appeared. Seems that it was never made. However, based upon the image below, I think I would have been disappointed with it anyway: Of course, there's the well-known unproduced Super Powers figures. I would have loved a Supergirl, or the Power Plus Cyborg (I never found ANY Cyborg in stores, so either would have been great!), or maybe Brainiac's Skull Ship. But the one I probably would have been most psyched for would have been Power Plus Jayna. I had no particular attachment to the Wonder Twins, but even as a kid I was aware that there weren't enough female superhero action figures and naturally gravitated towards them. But, even more importantly, I would have LOVED to see how that transforming upper body worked! So what about you?

I wish the Super Powers line had continued. I remember seeing Supergirl and Batgirl showing up on some Super Powers related merchandise--I think it was a coloring book and thinking they were about to receive their very own action figures, but it was not to be. Also wonder what figures would have been created had Mego not gone out of business.

I remember wanting the transforming turtle party wagon I loved the original party wagon, I even bought a remake of it a few years back because it just looks cool and I'm sure I would have loving having one that doubled as a transformer. I've also heard that there was a planned line of Dark Crystal toys but the negative reaction at the box office killed it, I'd sorely love a Garthim figure.

Some Dark Crystal toys were produced for the collector's market long after it's release...including a Garthim action figure... -M

Wow, I've never seen those! The details look great but the Garthim looks way too small.

Never saw this until now. That really does look awesome. The original mock-ups of the figures looked GREAT: But, presumably, when they went to mass produce them, the figures came out terribly. I can't find the pics anymore, but I've seen the final figures in detail before, and they were not anything I would have bought as a child (and I LOVED that movie).
