Speaking of, I'll be making that trip in two weeks and will be stopping by at least a couple of the comic book shops you recommended to me. I really need to go back to them, myself. Especially Eidee's.

My family used to vacation there all the time when I was young. Years later, I'm still not sure why. Seeing the Amish was kind of cool, and I remember this AMAZING toy train museum, but that was about it.

In the middle of a cornfield. My home town is so small it doesn't have a stop light. If it gets one, I'm moving to a smaller town.

In the middle of Alabama -- Montgomery, to be precise. Montgomery was the first capital of the Confederacy, for a few months before Virginia seceded and the capital was moved to Richmond.
I'm in southern California, near where San Bernardino County, LA County, Orange County and Riverside County all converge.

At the moment I'm in my office on the south side of downtown Portland, Oregon. Soon I will drive 12 miles west to my home in the suburb of Aloha, which is not pronounced the Hawaiian way. Around here, the 'h' is silent.

I'm in California also, near Santa Barbara. And while we don't have the tornadoes, snow storms or hurricanes like a few of you, we get a different problem here...mass murderers, gangs, and a plethora of meth addicts. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a Breaking Bad episode. There were three or four gang-related shootings here in this week alone, and just today three cop cars arrived across the street from my house to deal with a young female addict screaming incoherently. Her clothes and possessions are still scattered on the sidewalk for some reason. And that mass-killer kid Elliot Rodger, I've been into that deli he shot into more times than I can count. Scary times we live in.
Other than that the weather is very nice lol.

About a 7 minute drive (depending on traffic) from the mall that zombies tore through in the original Dawn of the Dead film. Northeast Ohio, right outside of Cleveland and on Lake Erie. We used to visit relatives in Cleveland every Summer when we were kids and I've been up to Lake Erie to fish a few times. As for where I live, it's a little town called Trafford (population 3,200), which is about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA; we're just over the county line, so we aren't technically a suburb. "Howdy Neighbor."
