Always got a laugh from Bill Dana's Jose Jimenez routines. His short lived situation comedy show was decent. Did not know he wrote so much material for other comics, including originating Don Adam's get Smart "Would You Believe?" running joke

So sad. I was just thinking how sweet it was that he included her in his cameo in X-Men: Apocalypse. Also, and this is totally anecdotal, if often seems like, with elderly couples, once one dies, the other soon follows. A fighting spirit is essential to longevity. I wish Stan the best in the days and months to follow, and I surely hope he'll hold onto that fighting spirit.

I have a fear of that, Shax. Both my parents are alive and 85 and 87 . They've been married for 63 years.

Ditto. With Stan having been such a Romantic over the decades, this is a devasting tragedy for him, and I don't care about how old she was; love is ageless. Loss is merciless.

Nelsan Ellis -- who played "Lafayette" on "True Blood" he was a wonderful man, and I enjoyed my interactions with him at Dragon*con. Such a straight man, playing such an over the top Gay character, and he did it with such ease, and no qualms at all. I will miss him. . far too young (39) to be gone. variety.com/2017/tv/news/nelsan-ellis-dies-dead-true-blood-1202490405/

Drew Ford has reported on Facebook that Sam Glanzman has passed away. Ford has been working to reprint some of Glanzman's work and has worked extensively with the family.
R.I.P. Sam Glanzman. U.S.S. Stevens was as good as war comics get.

My favorite horror movie of all time -- probably the most important & influential film in the genre in the last 50 years, at the very least.
RIP, Mr. Romero.
