I have never had an alcoholic beverage, cigarette, or illegal drug in my life. I have also had a total of two small cups of coffee in my 45 years.
But I am still not guaranteed to live past this second.
German jazz singer Roger Cicero, by all accounts, was as much of a t-totaler as I am, and my age, yet he died of a brain hemorrhage this year.

Nothing's garunteed, no, but you're statistically less likely to die young than a booze-hound, couch potato, who smokes 70 a day and has a poor diet. That said, I firmly believe your longevity on this mortal coil is mostly down to your genes. If you've got bad genes, you can live as healthily as you like, but ultimately you'll still most likely die before your time. This is especially true if you have a genetic tendency towards cancer or heart disease or certain neurological conditions etc.

I know I kind of started it, but I'm not sure this current, double entendre filled conversation is in the best taste for the RIP Thread?

Allan Williams, the Beatles first manager, has died. Though he was nowhere near as important to The Beatles' story as their later manager, Brian Epstein, Williams gave the group some of their earliest gigs at his Jacaranda club, was responsible for arranging their residency at the Cavern and, most importantly, sent them to play in Hamburg, Germany, where they turned into the great little rock 'n' roll band that went on to conquer the world www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-38473742

Just kidding. Seriously, though, you're the boss, if it doesn't sit well with you, you have alllll the power to fix it. Deleting stuff is not a problem here.

I just thought it might not be in the best taste.

Has anybody famous died yet today? So this **** can get miserable again. LOL! I think we have enough misery to work on just over the ones who have passed, to last us an eternity without anyone else dying.
