Check out this new video interview from DC All Access with David and Meredith Finch:
My theory on Donna Troy was on the mark. She was created to believe that butchering the men on Themyscira was the right thing to do but upon being caught in Wonder Woman's Magic Lasso, it made her see the truth in that everything she was created to believe was a lie and she was in shock over the revelation. I have faith that this Donna can be redeemed and become similar to the hero many of us used to love!

Not yet, I marked it to watch later. I just can't imagine what they'd say to unread Donnas new52 debut for me...

Even if she wasn't responsible for it, it still happened, which isn't good writing IMO.

Having no history of Donna Troy from 1999 to 2014 - having said that the video that you've provided us to watch doesn't make any sense to me and I listen to Meredith a countless times and walked away even more confused than ever. I understand what you are saying here Dr. Poison but the butchering of men that written by Brian Azzarello got me to the point that I just don't know what to say here and that's made me believe that all Amazons were blood-thirsty and having to read these stories over and over again made me even more madder and that's turns me off in a hurry. That's why this video did not make any sense at all and maybe I'm missing something here but I believe that Donna Troy was responsible for the murders in the first place and that's why I'm having problems relating to this.
That's why I hate a new team (Finches) trying it's best to clean up the mess that Azzarello and Chiang made in the first place and having said that - they aren't doing a good job about it. I would just leave that mess alone and start afresh and put the past to be past and be done with.
That's why I'm dropping this book for good.

How can Donna be held responsible if she was brainwashed from her birth?

How can Donna be held responsible if she was brainwashed from her birth? The problem with Donna Troy is that I've believe (honest here) that Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl are two separate heroines with different past and I had a lukewarm history of Donna Troy. I was checking in the internet and shockingly learned that she was an Amazon born on Paradise Island. I did not see that coming (honest) - I was brainwashed into thinking that Donna Troy and Diana Prince are two separate character separated by a different name. In Wonder Woman Lynda Carter Series did me a grave injustice that Wonder (Debra Winger) was her younger sister. Having said that and lost history for 15 years and the mess of Brian Azzarello brought to us and DC Comics constantly re-inventing her - remember her stint on the Titans of Myth, Justice League, Darkstars, and many incarnations of the Teen Titans made me believe that she was totally separate from Wonder Woman. I was brainwashed too and having said that I'm not going to bother with Wonder Woman book anymore and learned to accept that you are right Dr. Poison and I was wrong. Having said I was wrong made me very sad about the current state of Wonder Woman and I now understand what Meredith is trying to do here and having said that I have to bite the bullet and accept it as it is. So, officially ... I'm dropping Wonder Woman until I hear from you that this mess is completely cleared up for good. I don't want to confuse myself any further. Sorry about the long post here.

No need to apologize. I get where you're coming from. Things are far from perfect in Wonder Woman's world but I do think we're seeing slight signs of improvement and will continue to see them over the next 6 months or so.

I watched it: not much to say. They said what I thought they would, I still miss pre-Flashpoint non-murderer Donna.

I just got an e-mail from my dear friend Jeff who used to run a Comic Book Store and now enjoying retirement and he gave me the complete rundown on Donna Troy and I understand the full history of this character. It's sad the way she was treated and like dupersuper said - I missed the pre-Flashpoint non-murderer Donna. Ahem to that!
