American Gothic Press’s comics division, FM (Famous Monsters) Comics, has announced a trio of new comic book titles that it plans to release in the coming months including Monster World, a second title from horror specialist Steve Niles (and Phillip Kim), as well as Project Nemesis from Jeremy Robinson and Lost in Space: Season 4, a new comic book series that will be based on the unproduced screenplays from Producer Irwin Allen’s collection. The previously announced horror comic from Steve Niles, Broken Moon, which features art by Nat Jones, is a horror saga set in a future post-apocalyptic world in which creatures from dark seek to fill the void created by the near extinction of humanity, while the new Niles title, Monster World, is a horror/private eye yarn set in 1930s Hollywood that will be illustrated by Piotr Kowalski. Also new is Project Nemesis, which is slated to debut in October. Writer Jeremy Robinson is best known for his kaiju novels (Project 731), so it’s no surprise that Project Nemesis deals with a skyscraper-sized alien created by an ill-advised bit of gene-splicing. No definite release date (or creative team information) is available for Lost in Space: Season 4, which will use actual unproduced screenplays from the Irwin Allen collection to chronicle the continuing adventures of the Robinson family, with Doctor Smith and all the cast along for the ride. FM Comics says that Lost in Space: Season 4 will debut later this year.

Just saw this now. Steve Niles never disappoints. He doesn't always bring his A game, but I'm never sorry to have been along for the adventure.

I don't usually like horror, but Steve Niles is really good... I might have to check that out.
