Mine is quite dorky : In the Watchmen Mayfar Games RPG sourcebook, they have a list of aliases for Moloch, and the only one I didn't remember from anywhere in the comicbook was Arthur G. Scratch. So I came up with what the G stood for as if it was me I would know. I also often use another online alias which is Cicerobuck, the name of one of Santa's reindeers in Mark Martins section of his comic Tantalizing Tales with Jim Woodring.

This is the latest of his own stuff I got some years ago : Recently got this from ebay though :

Does this board have a Facebook page? Some forums I've been on have them. They definitely open up another avenue for getting to know each other. facebook.com/ccfcomics?ref=bookmarks

I decided I was going to start a blog writing about and reviewing comics, and while trying to pick out a name Metallica's cover of "Turn the Page" came up in my playlist.

not very exciting, but it's basically my name (shortened. . so that's why it's always the lowercase "b" since the Capital 1st letter from my "real" name is gone).
but I've gone by "bert" for over 30 years -- I also used to wear my hair shaved, except for a little "puff" up front (like the Muppet Bert). . so the shorthand version stuck among my friends even before I started posting on line.

Quite a contrast, there Think I'd rather be hearing Metallica.

Wow, I just read all of the responses in this thread and I must say, they all blow my username and origination out of the water. This is quite a creative bunch! Best response EVER.

Mine has the potential to be quite offensive, and to tell the truth that appeals in a perverted way. Pakeha is the Maori word for people of European descent over here, while 'fulla is slang for fellow, therefore pakehafulla is a male european or white male. Usually used in context like " Who was that pakehafulla you was just talkin to ?"
There was a "world famous in New Zealand" comedian named Billy T James who gave us "SupaMaoriFulla" in his skit show in the 80s and I like to think of this as my homage.
However it can also be used as a racial slur, but I figure I can hardly be downtrodden by myself.
Too old to really care what anyone thinks, I know how I meant it and if they cant get the joke well ...

Lemme see... I started on the CBR forums as CheekstheToyWonder, switched to MarkAndrew (my first and middle name) lost the password or something to "MarkAndrew" and went with one of my favorite old school comic book series.

This is my original username from Comic Book Resources. (Maybe even Newsarama before that?)
I drink Coke. I read comics.
I don't think I'm explaining this very well.

Great thread. I started using my username on all comic book forums with the old Newsarama forums (RIP). It's the same username on CBR & any other comic book related forums. It's my initials (MD) & year of birth (62).
My "new" user name is my first & middle name.
