He did indeed, popping up in Iron Man, Werewolf By Night, and Spectacular Spider-Man. Oddly enough, he didn't retackle Daredevil after his return (that disintegrator he fell into was actually a teleporter), at least not as of 1986. Daredevil teamed up with Spider-Man against the Masked Marauder in Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #26-28. I think #27 & 28 featured Frank Miller's first work on DD.

Because I'm crazy that way, I just went thru the first 20 issues of Daredevil in the GCD and did a Character search on all the villains who were introduced in one of those issues. Here is the first non-Daredevil appearance I can find for each of them: Owl - The Cat #2, 1/73 Killgrave - Marvel Tales #100, 2/79 Matador - Spider-Man's Tangled Web #13 6/02 Mr. Fear - Doctor Strange, Sorceror Supreme #33, 9/91 Stilt-Man - Captain America #191, 11/75 Ani-Men - Marvel Team-Up #25, 9/74 or X-men #94, 8/75 if MTU is disqualified Plunderer - Tales To Astonish #95, 9/67 Masked Marauder - Iron Man #60, 7/73 Gladiator - Iron Man #7, 11/68 So The Plunderer seems to take the prize, but now the question is, is it the same Plunderer? The one in Daredevil #12-14 is Lord Parnival Plunder, and the one that battled the Sub-Mariner in TTA is Edgar Plunder. The GCD is not clear on the connection between the two. Cool. Appreciate it, Rob. I've never read the last Subby Tales to Astonish stories. I should get on it. I guess I think of the Plunderer more as a Ka-Zar villain... but I don't remember him fighting his brother ever again, after DD # 14. So Plunderer, sort of, with Gladiator as the first major villain to reappear.

Another question...I know Marvel Tales were primarily reprints but were there any single issues that featured new stories? I ask because I love my Spidey and (in a perfect world) would love to have all of his appearances through the 70's so I was wondering if someone knew of any issues that contained new stories and not reprints.

I know some 1980s issues have new back-up stories featuring Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham!

Haha I will have to revisit those someday. I read one as a kid and remember liking it.
I found a site that answered my question though...and it does not appear there are any Marvel Tales with new Spidey material other than the Spider-Hammery you mentioned.

There was an Angel of the X-men solo story written by Jerry Siegel (!) in one issue. Marvel Tales # 262 (reprint a John Byrne Marvel Team-Up issue with the X-men in it) had a new X-men story as well.

The Plunderer (Edgar Parnival Plunder) has had several rematches with Ka-Zar, first in Astonishing Tales, then Bruce Jones's Ka-Zar the Savage series in the eighties and then in the jungle lord's nineties run.

Apparently, Parnival is his middle name, though he is called by it more often than he is Edgar. His brother calls him by the nickname 'Parny' in several issues of his eighties series.

Does Wonder Woman fly ? I now it used to be that she could glide on air currents. If that's the case, does it act like a hang glider, where she's mostly drifting and not able to go higher ? George Perez's 1986 reboot of WW gave her the full power of flight.

Just how strong is Spidey? I mean, I know he is pretty darn tough but I was just re-reading ASM #239 and there is a scene where he bends a piece of metal into a shovel, shovels the asphalt away until he gets to the gas line, and then crunches it closed to prevent gas from fueling a potential fire.
Seemed like a bit much to me...
