Don't recall specific issues but from around Superman 308 upward Lois thought Clark was Superman but couldnt prove it or get him to admit it. Their reporter rivalry was the primary focus of their relationship and then Lana Lang came in for awhile to make things interesting. Somewhere after that Lois & Clark became a dating couple.

Pre Crisis it was never Lois and Superman to the public, it was Lois and Ckark who were in a relationship. It was a slow burn kind of thing with Lois unrequited love and Ckark who hesitated, holding back for fear of placing Lois in constant danger. He did eventually "give in" and publicly begin to openly "date" Lois. Given that a comic book entitled Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane ran for 137 issus, somebody thought they were opening dating. This story in #96 (from 1969) even treats a Superman/Lana/Lois love triangle as public knowledge. This. When Luthor wanted to avenge the destruction of Lexor, his first thought was to kill Lois Lane because he thought that she and Superman were still a thing. Luthor used the word "lover" and Lois talked explicitly about "relationship".

Ah, thank you. I learned of this little factoid in an Answer Man column where a reader asked if Lois knew about Bruce being Batman. Rozakis' answer made me laugh out loud cause it makes for perfect symmetry to me. Lois can't figure out Superman nor apparently Batman so sure, why not have Jimmy know it instead!

How is the current Shang-Chi connected with the one from Doug Moench's day?
His wikipedia page tells of an association with the Avengers and of different super-powers gained and lost, but very little about his old supporting cast (apart from his father being retconned into not being Fu Manchu, according to the conceit that it was just a pseudonym for the Devil Doctor).

I've only read the Marvel comics Presents serial, in issues 1-8, with Moench & Tom Grindbergh, and the Moench/Gulacy Max mini-series. Both used Tarr, reston and Leiko (Leiko got her hand lopped off in MCP); but no idea about any of the rest. Marvel owned the characters created for the series, but not the ones created by Rohmer, which meant Fu Manchu, Fah Lo Suee, Nayland Smith, Dr Petrie and Karamenah. Marvel chaarcters included Black Jack Tarr, Clive Reston and Leiko Wu, pluss Melissa Greville, various villains, Sarsdale, Juliette and Shen Kuei, Pavane, Brynocki, etc... Brynocki was used in the Thing mini-series and at least in one or two other non-MOKF comics. Not aware of anyone other than Moench using Tarr and Reston; but, wouldn't be surprised if someone had , though only he seemed to care about them. Chi's outside appearances were usually limited to him and no supporting cast. Really, how connected to the past is much of the Marvel line, given how they keep tweaking it to reflect the movies?

Bill Mantlo used Reston and Tarr alongside Shang-Chi in Rom #38 & 39, and the British writer Paul Cornell used them in Wisdom.

Was Archie having sex with both Betty and Veronica during his series? What kind of perv are you? You know all the Archie characters are like Ken and Barbie, with no actual sexual organs! 😉

Was Archie having sex with both Betty and Veronica during his series? The writers and artists certainly had fun suggesting this, and some even drew non-official panels and pages that were X rated, but no...it's not actually canon anywhere in the series until the Married Life run, and even there it's never specifically discussed nor alluded to beyond there being children in the original Married Life storyline.

Was Archie having sex with both Betty and Veronica during his series? In the original series? No. The Riverdale kids did not have sex, did not smoke, did not do drugs and did not drink alcohol. Archie dated both Betty and Ronnie, but a kiss is as far as it went. From time to time there were slight references to a possible sex life... I remember a story in which Archie and Betty get to her house on a blustery day, hair all all tangled and clothes partially undone by the wind, and Betty's mom thinks "I wish those kids would be more patient" or words to that effect. Just a wink to the older readers, with no real innuendo. I suppose the current books might have a relaxed policy regarding how wholesome the books are supposed to be... The TV series is certainly raunchier!

Was Archie having sex with both Betty and Veronica during his series? There’s no crying in baseball, and there’s no sex in Riverdale.
