CBR storyStarlin has revealed in an interview he is returning to his creator-owned property after a long hiatus. He will write and draw this one and mentions he has a love hate relationship with drawing now and likes drawing less and less as he gets older. He has not lined up a publisher yet and plans to finish the mini before shopping it to one. He also mentioned he is working on the script sfor the Dreadstar TV project that was announced a while back. -M

One added tidbit from the Hollywood Reporter article that CBR left out...
Might this be one of the books the Aftershock announcement referred to when they said Starlin was one of the creators?.

I wonder how this will work out... will Jim pick up his storyline from where he left it before Peter David took over? Will this book be set before the end of his original one, when all the characters were still there? (I missed Oedi and Sysygy in the Malibu Dreadstar comic).
In any case, this is great news. Dreadstar was a very mature comic and I would welcome its return.

This and the Milestone return are the biggest news items for me out of SDCC.
