I just about had a heart attack at my comic shop when I found a Usagi Yojimbo #145 in my box. Somehow I hadn't heard that Stan was going to resume the series this quickly after the end of Senso, so it was a big surprise for me. Sadly, I can't read it yet, because I'm only up to #121. Some of these late issues are really hard to track down copies of. Hopefully I can plug the last holes soon and get caught up. Hurray!

This will be on the top of my read pile when my DCBS box comics this weekend, I was psyched when stuff from this week (Usagi and the end of Convergence, specifically) were on the packing list.

Usagi has certainly not missed a beat! #145 is the start of a 3 parter, which seemd to be pitting Chizu against Kitsune, with Usagi in the middle! Great start to a new arc.

I am a self-confessed trade waiter. I have toyed with the idea of going back to issues for Usagi and Astro City. I see thanks to the delay I am actually all caught up.
Senso arrives in the mail Monday and I have trades collecting through 144.
Hmmm...

The hardbound collected editions are far nicer and incorporate all the guest appearances in other titles in easy-to-follow chronological order. That being said, I just can't stop collecting the floppies NOW. I literally own them all. I am, however, buying the Saga volumes as well.

Were I to start buying the floppies, I would certainly continue buying the trades.

The covers were so great. I love the hardcovers though and they're my preferred format. I just don't want to wait on this series. I still buy Walking Dead too, just because the back issues are easy to sell when I'm ready for the next Compendium. Usually for a profit as well.

My Usagi Yojimbo Saga HC came in the mail the other day. Haven't had time to take it out of it's wrapping yet. Maybe tonight
