His defense is basically "attempted business doesn't count!"

His defense is basically "attempted business doesn't count!" Shhhh! I was hoping to see what tortured sophistry the White House and the Kremlin News Network, er, I mean FOX News could come up with on their own! Now they'll just parrot Sideshow Bob!

Oh, Trump said that in the article you linked. He already went there. But yes, his supporters will find some way to twist and defend this. The blind partisanship is astounding.

It's always interesting that the "Party of Law & Order"™ doesn't seem to understand that attempting to commit a crime...is a crime.

Doubly frustrating because the "godless libtards" call out our own leaders for bad behavior. If Obama had engaged in half this stuff we'd want him out, too.

If Trump said the sky was blue I'd have to go and check on it. Him saying someone/everyone/existence is lying is pretty meaningless you would think, and yet...

I am *greatly* enjoying watching Trump lose his damn mind, as the walls are closing in.
even if nothing criminal ever comes of it (and don't get me wrong, I really hope it does).. I am getting so much pleasure as this charlatan is finally exposed in a way that has not happened up until this point.
cannot wait for the next time my elderly Father (and HUGE Trump supporter) brings up "crooked Hillary"

Thanks for linking this, WM! It's hilarious! I've been wondering about some of this stuff for decades. The mystery of why Dolly for Sue was considered a misfit has especially been a subject that intrigued me from all those times I saw it when I was a kid. Maybe she was kicked out of Christmas Town because she would sometimes say "Happy Holidays!" But I never noticed that the elf murdered the bird that can't fly. That's too upsetting. I'm not sure I can ever watch it again because of that!

But it’s alright...she apologized...lol That's pretty terrible... unless there's context that makes it clear it was a joke.. but even then, pretty bad.

Excellent! Even as a kid, I was so disappointed in Santa's nasty-ass attitude toward Rudolph. And I loved the way Comet nose-shamed Rudoplph in front of all the kids and Rudy's own father accepted it all. Those scenes + MAD magazine - Santa's insincere apology = cynicism at an early age...
