“All of the doctor’s numbers are on the fridge and a feeding schedule is on the counter. You have my number, Scott’s number--”





“Jerrica, Steven and I will be fine. Don’t worry!” Kimber Benton smiled at her sister.

Jerrica stopped and smiled. “I know. I just worry about him. Thanks so much for watching him today. This is a big day for Scott and his family”

“I know. It’s one of the few times his entire family will make a public appearance.”

“I can’t think of a better reason. Dedicating a new wing at the veterans’ hospital started by his grandmother during World War II is a big deal. Sometimes I can’t believe we are Wonder Woman’s in-laws.”

“Quite a change from our time as Jem and the Holograms isn’t it?” Jerrica laughed as her husband entered the kitchen. In his arms was Steven Trevor. “Someone wanted to kiss Mom good-bye.” he smiled, flashing impossibly white teeth.

“You be good for Aunt Kimber, precious boy.” Jerrica Trevor cooed as she handed her son over to Kimber.

“Don’t worry you two. I love spending time with my nephew.” Kimber replied.

Scott and Jerrica said good-bye to their son and to Kimber. With that, they changed to Wonder Man and Jem and streaked through the sky towards Washington D. C.

In Washington D. C., Wonder Woman, Champion, Donna Troy, and Steve Trevor had already assembled. Wonder Woman stared at a portrait of her mother, Queen Hippolyta, the golden age Wonder Woman.

“Your mother would be proud, Angel.” Steve smiled as he took his wife’s hand. She had barely aged since he had crashed on Paradise Island all those years ago.





“So much has changed Steve. I thought by now all these wars would be over. That there wouldn’t be a need for the hospital.”





Donna Troy, dressed in her Wonder Girl red jumpsuit costume, walked over to her sister and brother-in-law. “Unfortunately, I don’t think Man’s World will ever accept our message of peace. With the current war in Zandia, the hospital is needed more than ever.”





“I am more than happy to spread our message of peace and loving submission, Aunt Donna. Even if I have to bash a few heads in the process!” Champion added joining her family.





“Mindy!” Wonder Woman chided, shocked at her daughter’s words.

“What? What I do is nothing worse than you ever did. Maybe if you had listened more to grandmother, the world wouldn’t be in such turmoil. Grandmother certainly didn’t have any qualms about spreading our people’s message or punching a few people into submission. Remember that story she told us on how she chopped off that man’s arm when he was going to kill Aunt Donna?”

“Mindy, you can’t force people to hear our message. All we can do is explain what our people stand for and hope they accept it.” Wonder Woman said reaching for her daughter’s hand.

Mindy quickly pulled her hand away and skulked off down a hallway, nearly knocking Lilith Clay-Terzano over.

“Whoa, is she putting off some angry vibes! Didn’t even need my ESP for that. What’s her problem today, Donna?” Lilith asked her best friend.





“Same old thing. She’s out to save the world.” Donna smiled.

“Whether the world likes it or not.” Wonder Woman added. “Has anyone seen Scott and Jerrica? It’s almost time for the dedication to start.”

“I’m picking up their thought patterns….they are just overhead.” the pretty redhead smiled.

“Wow! Scott, look at all the reporters and news vans.” Jerrica said, holding her husband’s hand as they landed.

“I know! Isn’t it great!” Wonder Man smiled and waived to the paparazzi as well as the serious news crews.





“Wonder Man, over here!” one reporter shouted.

“Is it true, you both are returning to the Titans of Justice?” another demanded.

“Jem, is it true you are putting out a greatest hits cd?” another asked.

“Sorry folks, today is all about my grandmother!” Wonder Man said as he and his wife rushed passed all the chaos and into the hospital.

Scott found his family and quickly hugged his parents.

“Scott! We were beginning to worry!” Wonder Woman said embracing her son.

“No worries, mother! Here we are, let the party begin!” Wonder Man smiled as he hugged his father.

“It’s always a party with you, isn’t it.” Champion smirked.

“Mindy, please be civil today. Today is big day for our family. Grandmother worked so hard to establish this hospital. Since World War II, Amazon science has helped so many who have served our country.” Wonder Man explain.

“Your country. My allegiance is to Paradise Island.” Champion huffed.

“I will never understand that girl. Diana, we should have done more, made her visit the US more…” Steve said, worry in his voice.

“We tried Steve. She was bound and determined to know all she could about Paradise Island and my people. She never really felt comfortable in the United States like I did, like Scott did plus she’s still angry over what the new Legion of Doom did to her teammates.” Wonder Woman said. “No matter, the ceremony is about to begin.”

The Wonder Family assembled at a podium on a raised platform. Red, white, and blue flowers and banners adorned the new wing, waiting to be opened. Besides being her best friend, Donna Troy had asked Lilith to the ceremony to scan the surroundings with her ESP. Not even Wonder Woman thought anyone would dare attack today, but if there was a single negative thought (besides Mindy’s), Lilith would know it.

Wonder Woman approached the microphone. “Today is a very special day for all veterans as well as my family. In 1945, my mother established this hospital to help heal all the veterans who were wounded defending the land my family calls home.”

Lilith detected Champion’s dislike of Wonder Woman’s words.

Wonder Woman continued. “Thanks to generous donations, a new wing will be opened today. Today’s wars are more advanced, the injuries more brutal. Amazon science and the kindness and generosity of our donors will allow those injured by the wars of man to heal and return to their lives.”

As Wonder Woman continued her speech, Lilith started feeling light-headed. She started to sense evil thoughts coming over her all at once….from all directions.

She grabbed Wonder Girl’s arm. “Donna…..AIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” Lilith shouted as a bolt of energy slammed into her head, dropping her to ground.

Back at Scott and Jerrica’s, Kimber had just finished giving Steven a bath and had put him down for a nap.

“Whew, I don’t see how Jerrica does it. I am worn out! Hopefully, he’ll sleep awhile and be ready to play when he wakes up.”

Just then she heard the door bell. “That’s odd. No one called up from the gate.” she remembered, knowing the Trevors had a very intricate security system. Typically a visitor had to ring at the gate and be admitted to the property. “Probably just a neighbor, dropping by from next door.”

Kimber went to the door and saw a very attractive man. He was tall, blonde, and dressed in a very smart suit. “And here I am--I look a mess!” Kimber said, straightening her hair and clothes as she went to the door.

“Can I help you?” she smiled at the handsome man.

He smiled at her, eyes flashing wildly. “You certainly can my dear.”

Kimber didn’t have time to scream as the man covered her mouth and dragged her into the house.

Back at the dedication, Wonder Girl cradled Lilith’s head.

“Lilith! What is it??” Wonder Girl shouted. As she looked up at the sky, she saw what the problem was.

Descending on the Wonder Family was a who’s who of Wonder Woman’s greatest enemies.

“No long drawn out speeches for you today!” Kung the Assassin shouted as he lunged at Wonder Woman. She replied by punching him, sending him into the trees. “Steve…..”





“I know, Angel. Be careful.” Steve shouted as he turned to help the news reporters to safety.

Wonder Man saw lots of figures in the sky. “Jem, hit your Titans emergency signal. I think we can all handle these losers, but we might need back up!”

“On it, my love!” Jem replied as she noticed Champion engaging Gundra the Valkyrie.





Jem sent the signal. The Duke of Deception started towards her. “Uh uh, my pretty one! None of your friends are invited to this party.”





Jem noticed reality distorting around her. “Oh please. “ she huffed, sending a bolt of pure sound towards the Duke, knocking him to the ground.

The Mask attacked Wonder Man. “You think you and your family are better than the rest of us? Did you know that some of your donors are the greatest criminals of all? Corrupt politicians, corrupt CEOs……” she screamed as she tried to put a black bondage mask over Wonder Man’s face. “I can’t wait to get you back to my place and string you up! Your back is screaming for my whip!”

“Sorry cutie, but if I get kinky, it’s with my wife!” he replied, tossing the Mask over his head and into the advancing Queen Clea, knocking both women to the ground.





Dr. Psycho and Dr. Poison surrounded Donna Troy and Lilith.





“Hah, you think a rank amateur like your carrot-topped friend could detect me?” Dr Psycho said through gritted teeth.

Wonder Girl got between him and Lilith.

Dr. Poison released a pinkish gas. “Subject should react within seconds, boils, hair loss, blindness, probable! URK!!!”

A golden lasso wrapped around Dr. Poison. Wonder Woman secured her to a nearby tree and tossed a rock at Dr. Psycho, knocking him unconsciousness.

Donna Troy noticed Minister Blizzard about to attack the reporters and Steve Trevor.

“Such a lovely summer day! I hate to see all these flowers wilt from an early frost!” he chuckled.





Wonder Girl deflected an icy bolt with her bracelets back at him. He froze immediately.

“Never send a man to do a woman’s job!” a hissing voice rang out.

“Cheetah!” Champion gasped. “Murderess!” Champion drew her sword and attacked. “You killed my friends, nearly killed me!”

“Foolish girl! Your rage blinds you!” The Cheetah said, slicing Champion’s shoulder.





“I heard about what you did to my friends.” Wonder Man said, punching the Cheetah. “I owe you some of the same abuse you dished out.”

Wonder Woman joined the fight alongside her children. She noticed the Cheetah seemed more powerful as it was taking everything the three of them had to subdue her.

Within seconds, the Cheetah was bound by the magic lasso and was quiet.

The Wonder Family had subdued all the villains and reassembled.

“What in Hades name just happened here?” Donna asked.

“Some of these people haven’t been heard from in years.” Wonder Man added.

Champion stared at the Cheetah and drew the sword which had previously rested aside her right leg, “Stand aside mother so I can pierce her heart with my blade!”

“Mindy! That is not our way. There is a cell waiting for Cheetah on Reformation Island.” Wonder Woman said to her angry daughter.

Jem walked over to Lilith who was now coming around.

“You ok?”

“Yeah, I think so…..wait…there’s someone else…2 people….” Lilith looked over and saw a blonde, very attractive man in a black uniform coming towards Wonder Woman. On the left chest of his uniform was a red circle with the scales of justice.

“Wonder Woman!” the man shouted.





She heard his voice and turned around. “Tom?” she gasped.

“Mom, who is that?” Wonder Man asked.

“That’s Tom Tressor. Nemesis.” He was Diana Prince’s partner years ago.” Donna Troy said to her nephew.

Steve Trevor became noticeably disturbed at Tom’s appearance.

Wonder Man followed his mother. “Diana….Wonder Woman….you’ve got to get help---there’s more of them coming--!!!” he shouted.

Wonder Man had caught up to his mother. Just then a large cast shadow appeared. It was Giantessa.

“Catch!” she shouted as she ripped the new wing of the veterans hospital, hurling it at Wonder Woman and her son.





Neither of them had time to run as the structure crashed down upon them both.

“Scott!!!!! “ Jerrica shouted in horror.

“Diana….oh God no….” Steve gasped.

Just then, Wonder Man’s fist emerged. “You think that would hurt us? Come on!! She’s Wonder Woman! And I’m her son!” Wonder Man laughed, digging a way out for his mother and himself.

“You speak too soon, fool.” Osira said, joining the grinning Giantessa.

“Giantessa, if you please.”

Giantessa had retrieved an oil tanker from the nearby docks. She tossed it into the air. Osira blasted it directly at Wonder Man and Wonder Woman.





“Mother!!! Scott!!!!!” Champion cried as the rubble around her mother and brother exploded into a fire ball.

Wonder Girl, Champion, and Jem all hurried over to the fiery mess.

Osira and Giantessa freed their villainous friends.

“Well done ladies and gentlemen! Our leader will be pleased.” Osira said, enveloping the group within her pyramid force field as the ground erupted into chaos beneath them.

Back at the Trevor’s house, Kimber crawled along the floor leaving a trail of blood as she scooted. The house was a shambles. Every inch she crawled, her body racked with pain.

“the phone….I can see it…..” she cried as her bloody bruised hand reached out.

“No, no, no, no! That just will not do.” the man with yellow, cracked teeth giggled. What? You don’t like my real face? Now really? Would you have let me in if I didn’t look like a model from an Dolce ad?”

“ple….please…don’t hurt….the baby….” Kimber pleaded, her mouth filling with blood.

“Hurt him? Why, I’m here to take him for a play date!”

Kimber looked up at the wildly dressed man.

“Now, you. You are another story. If only you hadn’t tried to make that long distance call. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!” he laughed he lifted his foot towards Kimber’s head. The last thing she saw was her nephew screaming in his arms.

“Now, now. Be a good little brat for Uncle Wildcard!”
