The Titans of Justice satellite…

“Knightvision is truly despicable!” Sargona thought to herself. “Every time he and I argue, the next week I get put on third-shift monitor-duty. He must have found out that I had concert tickets to see Jerrica perform tonight. One of these days I’m going to find a way to pay him back for this. Well, I’d better get started on updating our history files so that I can get out of here on time,” she huffed as she accessed the computer in front of her.







Just then, something shocking occurred to her, “OMG! I just realized that several years ago today was when we first got together. I remember it like it was yesterday. The Legion of Doom had traveled here from the past in hopes of learning the JLA’s secrets thinking they could steal them from the Hall of Justice long after the League had retired. It was a good thing that Stratohawk(now Hawk Warrior) happened to be at the Hall as he was commissioned by Hawkman to start on plans to turn the Hall into a museum being that it had been vacant for almost a decade. Once he realized what the Legion was up to, he called in myself along with Power Guy, Green Lantern, Knightvision, Wonder Man, Celsius, Icemanling, the second Vibe, Dark Arrow, Junjie Quick, and Jemstone. Everyone but Icemanling, Vibe, and Dark Arrow joined the active roster at the time with Celsius serving as our very first leader.










Soon after, Venus came knocking on our door as our first new recruit. The poor girl had no memories beyond a few months back and hoped that we could help her figure out her mysterious past.





Shortly afterwards, Black Orchid had resurfaced and began phase two of her Black Orchid Massacre where she killed dozens of super-humans including Mas & Menos, the Human Flying Fish, and Icemanling(who had changed his name to Frost). This was in addition to all of the victims of her first killing spree which included some big names like Guy Gardner, Starfire, and Cyborg. It turned out that Venus was actually Black Orchid with a personality disorder. The Floronic Man had taken mental control of Black Orchid and forced her to kill all of those people and Black Orchid’s mind reacted to the tragedy by creating the Venus persona.





During this time, we had acquired several new members such as Starman,





the second Supergirl who is Superman’s daughter, Nucleus,





Thunderstorm who is now Black Vulcan,





Sonic Boom,





and Batman and Catwoman’s daughter known as the Huntress.





We also gained several members of our recurring rogues gallery in this period such as the new, male Cheetah who is Priscilla Rich’s grandson, the revived Fausta, the Scarecrow’s daughter aka Scream Queen, Monique Le Claire who became another out of control Star Sapphire thanks to Mordru - who we ended up facing off against.





We lost Vibe in that battle, sadly. The good thing that came out of the battle with Mordru is that we gained several more member: Wonder Warrior(Donna Troy & Kyle Rayner’s son), Kid Comet(Captain Comet’s son),





Queen Bee(Bumblebee & Vox’s daughter), Palome(Raven & Risk’s child), and the Arachnid who is the legacy of the Blue Beetle. With so many members, the team split in two. One team on the East Coast headed up by Celsius and another on the West Coast under the leadership of Wonder Warrior.









Sargona paused from her data entry for a minute, “This just isn’t right. I’m dating the leader of our team and I still get shafted by Knightvision. Maybe I need to talk to Vince and sick him on Brendon. I can only imagine how bad the bags under my eyes are going to look tomorrow after staying up all night………UGH!”

She then continued on with her task, “Shortly after the two teams formed, the East Coast team foolishly let the new Sportsmaster into our ranks. He turned out to be a psychopath who wanted to kill us all – except for the Huntress and Green Lantern who he had become sickeningly obsessed with. The Phantom Stranger’s protégé known simply as The Stranger began aiding us occasionally but like the Phantom Stranger, The Stranger came and went as he pleased.





During this era of the Titans of Justice, we first clashed with Black Manta’s children, Devil Ray and Sting Ray.





The Sting Ray has become one of our most tenacious adversaries since then. In fact, she caused the biggest tragedy of our careers when she blew up a S.T.A.R. Labs facility and seemingly killed Power Guy, Green Lantern, Junjie Quick, Sonic Boom, Nucleus, and the Huntress. It turned out that they were actually blown in to the Universe of Evil where they met that universe’s version of Wonder Girl who remains a member of our team today but after that incident, the public and the hero community began to have doubts in our ability to keep the world safe, so much in fact that the American government had Amanda Waller start poking her nose into our business. She’s been a huge thorn in our side on and off since then, even going to so far as to force the Sportsmaster back on to our team and then demanding us to disband when she temporarily took over as president of the country. With our ranks diminished after the S.T.A.R. Labs fiasco, we replenished our team with Power Guy’s sidekick, Power Lad, Isis, and the Silencer who was the son of Snapper Carr. Dark Arrow, who was furious at us over Sonic Boom supposed death, decided to form a new Justice League consisiting of Totem(Vixen and John Stewarts daughter), Stellar(Captain Marvel and Stargirl’s son), the new Air Wave who is Green Lantern’s cousin and the son of the second Air Wave, Lt. Atom(Captain Atom’s kid), Atmosphere(Atom Smasher & Cyclone’s son), and the White Wraith who was the protégé of the Spectre.






We faced off against this new League several times until Sonic Boom and the others returned which also caused the East and West teams to merge back into one with several news members such as Lady Light(now known as Illumina who is the female Dr. Light’s daughter), Argos,





Blackbird,





Phantom Lady,





Black Adam, Wally West’s daughter who is now known as Hot Flash, Nuclearstorm(Firestorm and Firehawk’s kid), Hawkgirl,





the Sixty Minute Soldier, Sherry Girl of Two Thousand Gimmicks(now known as Constellation), Dreamsweeper,

Bulletboy, the original Dr. Fate, and Lord help us, the Wonder Twins. The team was then rechristened as the Titans of Justice Unlimited due to our vast size.

Sargona then took another break from her work, “Maybe I could put some itching powder in Knightvision’s tights? Switch his laxative and his upset stomach medication? I know, I’ll create a voodoo doll of him!” She then realized, “Nah, all of these ideas would probably get me booted off the team BUT I could probably get away with doing any and all of them to Jo Jo Gardner!” She then pressed on with her task, “The new, expanded team had a series of stunning adventures against the likes of Vulcan Son of Fire, Nefertiti, the new Shade,





the third Rag Doll,





the new Thorn,

Wildcard, Kitty Kat, and the legacy of Amazo known as Fantasto. We also had a thrilling adventure with the Justice Society, Justice League, and the Legion of Super Heroes. It was shortly after that case that I learned that Zatanna was my mother – news which I didn’t take well at first but eventually, she and I worked things out and are building up our relationship. Another highlight of this era was the formation of our heroes-in-training team known as the Super Friends. Most of our younger members are part of this team as they learn the tricks of the trade. We then faced our most cataclysmic case ever when the Wizard and his latest incarnation of the Injustice Society used the Chronal Egg of Krona to bring back the original multiverse along with Earths One, Two, Four, S, and X.





The Wizard inadvertently brought back the Anti-Monitor as well and before it was all over, we lost several Titans in the battle. A short while later, the five Titans from our future: Wonder Warrior, Palome’, Queen Bee, Kid Comet, and the Arachnid kind of betrayed us by keeping important information from us, although they had the best of intentions as in their time, several other members of the team went on a power-trip and became dictators of the world. After that mess was resolved, all of the future Titans went back to their proper era of time except the Arachnid who stayed behind. Not too long after that, Lex Luthor’s son, Lance, formed a new version of the Legion of Doom with a few original members along with some of the children of the first Legion. At first, they gained the public and Amanda Waller’s trust by pretending to be heroes but we soon learned that this was all a set-up so they could help the Syndicate of Terror from Earth Three

to kidnap us, take our place, and ruin our reputation. After we resolved that situation, the team was forced to disband by then President, Amanda Waller who soon demanded that we regroup to handle an alien threat, which turned out to be the JLA’s old foes the Applaxians. It was soon after that in which Green Lantern had a fall-out with the Guardians of the Universe and was replaced by Jo Jo Garnder(Guy Gardner and Ice’s son) as the Green Lantern of Sector 2814. The Guardian known as Ganthen took this opportunity to give Daniel Jordan a blue power-ring in hopes of reviving the Blue Lantern Corps.





This all lasted until the event we called ‘Darkest Hour” in which Black Hand and the Mocker revived Nekron and an army of Black Lanterns. It took everything we had to defeat them. In fact, we lost more Titans in the battle but some of them came back along with other heroes that had been killed over time thanks to the White Lantern. The White Lantern also gave Knightvision, Blackbird, and Hot Flash several years of their youth back.”

“For a short bit, the team was trapped in a pocket universe where we were on the run from the Secret Society of Super-Villains who had taken over the country. Thankfully, this was all remedied by some strange woman in a pink hood. Now the team is comprised of five sub-teams: The League of Titans from Earth One, The Society of Titans from Earth Two, The Titans of the L.A.W. from Earth Four, The Squadron of Titans from Earth S, and the Titans of Freedom from Earth X. Each team patrols it’s own earth but when a team is short-handed or up against something in which they need more muscle-power, the other teams come rushing to the rescue.”





Sargona then hung her head in exhaustion, “Finally….I’m done!” She then noticed the clock, “My shift will be done soon and Argos will be here any minute to relieve me. I’m going home, shutting off my phone, and sleeping for the next decade!”
