The Hall of Justice...
“How the heck did I get stuck with this task?” Sargona asked herself. “Oh, that’s right. I told Knightvision to go screw himself when he asked if I would take Sonic Boom’s monitor duty shift last Saturday so she could go to her parents twenty-fifth wedding anniversary party. Why would he be stupid enough to ask ME of all people? Besides, he hates her brother, shouldn’t he hate her too? Anyways, I guess I’d better get moving on these profiles or I’m going to miss tonight’s episode of Good Eats. Celeste better have the popcorn waiting when I get home....”
Argos - the all mighty New God from some place called New Genesis. He’s the son of Orion. This guy is immensely strong, near invulnerable, and wields something called the Astro-Force. Whatever that stuff is, it kicks major butt. He’s toppled a mountain with it before. I almost forgot, he’s not really quite normal. What I mean is that the form he presents himself with is for our understanding or so he says. He showed us his true form once during the recent Crisis when he took on the Anti-Monitor. It’s like some eerie form of energy I’d never seen before. Whatever it is, I hope I never see it again. It gave me and most of the rest of the team the creeps. Argos is accompanied by his giant, pet dog, Sturmur. Sturmer is one vicious mutt when he’s in battle. Provoke him enough and he’ll rip off a limb like it’s a chicken leg and then devour it. Lord only knows how he and Gleek could be such good pals. One other thing to note, Argos lives for battle and little else. It’s always about the next “dragon to slay” which is how he puts it. I personally think the guy needs some chamomile tea and a girlfriend...
Black Vulcan aka Celeste Pierce, daughter of Black Lightning. My best friend here has the power to generate electricity. She can also fly and turn into pure electrical energy. Add that to the fact that she makes the meanest sweet potato pie north of Atlanta. I remember the good ol’ days of Thunderdog and Sarcasta. Celeste and I didn’t get along so well when she first joined the team. At one point, I hated her almost as much as I do Di Di. Now, we’re nearly inseparable. I’ve got to find her a boyfriend...
Blue Lantern.......Jerk. Ugh....I guess I have to create an entry for him regardless of how I feel. Daniel Jordan is the son of Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Star Sapphire Carol Ferris-Jordan. He used to wield one of the green will-power based rings. Apparently, he had a falling out with the Guardians of The Universe and they took his ring away. I guess Dan can’t stay committed to anyone. Anyways....he now wears a blue ring of hope which can conjure up just about anything Dan can imagine. Even though I have few good things to say about this man, he is the perfect fit for a Blue Lantern with his tenacity to never give up and help others to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Dark Arrow.....speaking of jerks....I can’t believe I ever went out with this imbecile. Wait a minute, yes I can. I did it to make Dan jealous. Petty, pathetic, and immature, I know but I was young and stupid then. One night with Dark Arrow was as bad as my entire relationship with Blue Lantern. Anyways, Robert Queen here is the son of Green Arrow and Black Canary. He inherited his mother’s Canary Cry in the form of what he calls a Sonic Bellow. This power is slightly different from his mother and sister’s in the fact that it’s more like a solid bass attack. He rarely uses this power as it strains his vocal cords immensely and wipes him out. Instead, Dark Arrow relies on the archery skills he acquired from his father. The battling bowman carries with him a vast array of trick arrows. He also recently started carrying a sword which is kind of creepy and cool at the same time.
Elongated Lad is the son of Elongated Man and his wife Sue from a world that no longer exists. In the recent Crisis, Earth 1 was brought back and on that Earth, Ralph and Sue never died and had a son named Rick who became Elongated Lad. Being that he was present in the nexus of time and space when New Earth was reformed, he survived even though his parents and his world didn’t. I have to give this guy mad props for always having such a positive attitude in spite of all he’s lost. I think it helps that he has formed such a strong bond with the Flash. The two seem to keep each other’s spirits up.
The Flash aka Willma West is the daughter of Wally West, the third Flash. Out of all of Wally’s children, Willma was born with the least amount of super-speed. That all changed when her old brother and sister(Jai and Iris) suffered a horrible tragedy and then transferred their portion of the Speed Force to her. With Jai and Iris sidelined, Willma fights on as the fastest women alive. Once a woman who lacked self-confidence, she’s become a strong, independent thinker after triumph over Celsius and the original Dr. Light’s grandkids. During that encounter, Wilma got a new lease on life and she’s taking every opportunity it presents her.
Hawk Warrior(formerly Stratohawk) is the reincarnated Hector Hall, the son of Hawkman. Hector was killed some time ago while being controlled by Hath Set. Some time after that, he was reborn thinking he as a man named Christian Jordain but that charade was put to an end when Earth 2 was reborn and his true history was accounted for. As Hawk Warrior, he can fly, is skilled in various forms of combat, and is familiar with the use of various ancient weapons. Hector is married to Fury of the Justice Society Unlimited with whom he serves as one of our liaisons.
The Huntress aka Helena Wayne is the daughter of two earths. On New Earth, she is the child of Batman and Catwoman. Helena Wayne decided to call herself the Huntress after the second Huntress(Helena Bertinelli) saved her mother's life and then later was killed in the Black Orchid Massacre. On Earth 2, her origin is very similar. She is also the daughter of Batman and Catwoman however, her inspiration to become a crime-fighter came after her mother was killed after going straight and then being lured back into a life of crime by blackmail. Many thought that Robin and the Huntress had died in the events known as the Crisis On Infinite Earths after the pair were attacked by several Shadow Demons. The truth is that their bodies were badly damaged by the anti-matter that fueled the Shadow Demons. Dr. Fate made a last-ditch effort to save their lives by casting a special healing spell which also placed them in Limbo for almost two decades and kept them from aging. She is the world’s second greatest detective, skilled in almost every form of hand to hand combat, an accomplished escape artist, plus she carries with her a variety of Bat-weapons and a bull-whip. She is also noted for prowling around Gotham on her very own Bat-cycle. The Huntress is our other liaison with the Justice Society Unlimited.
Infierna Verda aka Jocelyn De Costa is the daughter of Fire(of Fire & Ice). The identity of her father is unknown. Jocelyn inherited her mother’s abilities to project and absorb flames and fly. This hot mamacita can be very vocal at times and will be straight up with you. She is one of the most compassionate members of our team. She also serves as our liaison to the Global Guardians.
Knightvision aka Brendon Grayson sucks. I mean really sucks. When you’re out having a picnic, he’s the dark cloud that rains all over your PB&J sandwich. I can’t tell you how many times he and I have butted heads. As much as I hate to admit it, he’s the one person on this team that can one up me in an argument. He always finds some way to turn the tables on his opponents and stick it to them. I guess being the son of Nightwing and Oracle is partially to blame for that. He’s probably the most agile person on this planet. No-one has a better sense of balance than him. Add this to the fact that he’s a superb fighter, resourceful detective, and a total whiz on computers and you’ve got one of the most well-rounded superheroes on the planet. That’s not even counting all those Bat-devices he carries on him such as Batarangs, lasers, tear-gas pellets, grappling hooks, electro-brass knuckles, and such.
Ms. Mars aka G’ina J’onzz is the daughter of the Martian Manhunter and Scortch. She can fly, has super-strength, intangibility, telepathy, and can project flames. While she’s not quite as strong as her father, she doesn’t share his vulnerability to flames thanks to the abilities she inherited from her mother. Ms. Mars has been on the team for over a year but has kept to herself so much that sometimes I feel like she’s still a stranger.
Olympia is everybody’s favorite sweetheart, Donna Troy-Rayner. Donna is a magically created, younger twin of Wonder Woman. She has super-strength, speed, reflexes, and a certain degree of invulnerability. She carries with her silver bracelets that can repel just about anything short of Darkseid’s Omega Beams, the indestructible silver Lasso of Tranquility, and an Invisible Jet. Donna can be firm yet compassionate. I don’t think there’s a single person on our team that doesn’t show her the utmost respect. Donna was a founding member of the original Teen Titans and is serving on our team in her nephew, Wonder Man’s place until he feels as though his family life is stable after having his first born child come into the world a few months ago. One can only wonder how Donna’s tenure on our team will affect her own son Christophe who was a member of our team when his adult self came back from the future.
Power Guy aka Ky-El aka Vince Starr is the younger brother of Power Girl. He, like his sister Karen and cousin Clark was sent to earth in a rocket when Krypton was about to explode but the rocket malfunctioned and took the long way to Earth. The technology that was infused with the rocket put him in suspended animation for a period of time and slowed his aging process tremendously so that he currently appears to be around twenty-two years old. Vince is the leader of Titans East. He’s very conscientious, committed, tactful, and dedicated. This guy has a lot of good qualities and I must admit that I was a bit of a fool to let him go when I was still hung up on Daniel Jerk-dan. I guess just like Joni Mitchell, I don’t know what I got ‘til it’s gone.
Powerstorm aka Scotty Raymond is the son of Firestorm(Ronnie) and Power Girl. Scotty inherited the Firestorm matrix and all of the abilities that came with it. He can fly, become intangible, and trasmute the elements plus fire atomic blasts. In order to become Powerstorm, Scotty needs to merge with his father Ronnie with whom he can communicate with telepathically. Powerstorm has two weaknesses, the inability to transmute organic materials and vulnerability to Kryptonite. Even though he has the Kryptonian weakness to Kyrptonite, Scotty has yet to manifest any of the typical Kryptonian super-powers. Gotta feel for this guy...
On to little ol’ me, Sargona The Sorceress aka Esmerelda Sargon, daughter of Sargon The Sorcerer and Zatanna. For the longest time, my father and I thought my mother had died during childbirth yet we didn’t know her to be Zatanna. It turns out, the fishnet, top-hat wearing skank of the JLA decided to abandon her duty as a mother and cast a spell making everyone forget she had a child. She tried saying it was to “protect” me after what she did to several super-villains during the Identity Crisis scandal. I think she’s full of it and because of what she did, I’ll never speak to her again! Needless to say, I’ve inherited her ability to cast spells by speaking them backwards but I rely more heavily on the Ruby of Life which I wear on my chest. This special little gem allows me to control whatever I touch. Rewinding to jerk-face Jordan for a minute, I did get one good thing out of my relationship with him. My flying carpet which I’m often seen traveling on. Hey - it beats the Whirly-Bat any day in my book...
Sonic Boom.........best for last, hmph....... This little witch who’s real name is Dinah “Di Di” Queen is the pride and joy of Green Arrow and Black Canary and also, dork-face Dark Arrow’s sister. This blonde little maggot is a highly skilled martial artist and kick-boxer. She also has this special little ability called her Canary Cry which is a high-pitched scream she can release which can shatter glass or pulverize a person’s eardrums and if you think that’s bad, you should hear her whine some time.
Now on to our active reserve members.
The Crimson Squire formerly Blackbird aka Brenda Troy is one of Knightvision’s two partners. Brenda is an accomplished fighter, acrobat, and a top-notch detective, much like her former(?) boyfriend Knightvision. She also carries a few Bat-devices with her such as Batarangs, Bat-cuffs, lasers, and lock-picking equipment.
I’m borrowing the Huntress’ Justice Society file on Dreamsweeper aka Kurt Dodds. He’s the grandson of Wesley Dodds, the original Sandman of Earth 2. Wesley's love, Dian, became pregnant and not wanting the baby to follow in Wesley's footsteps as a superhero, faked an abortion and gave her baby up for adoption. Wesley's son later discovered his true heritage and shared this knowledge with his own son, Kurt. After his dad was killed by a bunch of petty thugs, Kurt decided to follow in his grandfather's footsteps and avenge his father's death as the new master of dreams: Dreamsweeper. He carries with him a sleep-gas gun which puts his opponents to sleep and then the nightmare starts as Kurt has the power to invade someone's mind while they are sleeping. The only catch is that if they wake up while he's still inside, he's trapped until they fall asleep again. One more thing to note, before the recent Crisis, Kurt operated on New Earth as Dr. Sand but when Earth 2 was restored, his history changed so that he had always resided on Earth 2. Kurt also keeps himself busy as an active member of the Justice Society Unlimited and a near-obsessive historian. No-one has more knowledge of American history than him.
Ibis The Invincible aka Prince Amentep was born centuries ago as a prince in ancient Egypt. After his wife Tala was struck by a poison dart from his enemy, the Black Pharaoh, he put her and himself under the effects of a healing spell which also placed them both in suspended animation for centuries. Both Ibis and his wife were awakened in 1940 by the Wizard Shazam to help turn the tide against the Axis forces. He soon joined the All-Star Squadron and some short time later, formed a sub-group for he and his fellow heroes from Fawcett City known as the Squadron of Justice. Decades later, it appeared Ibis was killed by an evil entity known as Gwydion but in fact, Ibis had cast an illusion while another spell healed his body from the attack. Once healed, Ibis put together a new Squadron of Justice in the current day. Ibis is an accomplished wizard and carries with him, the Ibis-stick which has magical properties such as control over objects, allowing Ibis to fly, and firing bolts of mystical energy. Ibis is one heck of a guy. He’s been helping me hone my mystical abilities over the last several months.
Metamorpheous aka Rex Mason is the son of Metamorpho and his wife, Sapphire. Rex seems to have inherited his father’s elemental abilities yet with much less control as of yet. While he masters his abilities, he must wear these control-bands on his wrists which help to stabilize his transformations. It’s too bad Rex is openly gay as he’s quite a hottie and an honest, decent guy to boot but then again, almost every guy that’s like that usually turns out to be gay. Rex is also a member of Halo’s new Outsiders.
Rock is, you guessed it, the grandson of Sgt. Rock, World War II army hero. Rock is a great fighter and very proficient with almost every type of hand-gun. He’s got that kinda hot bad boy vibe going for him. I bet he’s a blast to go out on the town with.
Sister Sayrah hails from New Genesis like Argos and her brother Mr. Miracle III. Her parents are Mr. Miracle I and Big Barda. Sister Sayrah is quite witty and very fun to be around. This girl enjoys busting heads and telling jokes at the same time. She’s armed with invulnerability, super-strength on par with her mother’s, and her oh so deadly double-sided Mega-Staff which burns hot on one end and emits freezing cold on the other end.
Tornado Champion is the “son” of the second Red Tornado, former member of the Justice League of America. We don’t know a whole lot about this guy. We took him in as a reserve member upon his father’s request. He appears to have his father’s control over air but no-one is quite sure if he’s man, machine, or a little bit of both.
Well, that’s the east team along with our reserves. Some winners, some losers............cough..........Sonic Boom................cough, but all in all, a pretty well-rounded team. Someone else is going to have to go through our rogues as I’ve got a hot date with a bowl of hot buttered popcorn in fifteen minutes now that my shift here is done! Sargona signing off...........
THE END!

THE END!
