I see in the Marvel Solicitations for March that Moon Knight is getting a new creative team again.

Read the 4th Aquaman trade last night (Death of a King)... Ugh. And it was going so well, too. All of a sudden, there are 7 nations of undersea people, probably all with superpowers, that no one has ever heard of before? That might work a bit is Aquaman was an indy comic in it's own universe, but not in the DCU.... I getting real tired of creators doing that... Geoff Johns has plenty of cache, he could do a Boom! or Image book no problem.

Multiversity: Thunderworld Adventures #1 is pretty fun. I just finished reading that and it was awesome. I can't for the life of me figure out why there isn't a Captain Marvel ongoing out right now. This would make a great ongoing, heck even the one that was told as a back up in Justice League a couple years ago would make for a decent series. I'm not sure there are all that many other writers out there who could pull it off the way Morrison did. I don't even like the original, Shazam Captain Marvel - the idea of a 12-year old with superpowers has always struck me as weird and scary: I get images of gun-toting child-soldiers/gangsters and that old Twilight Zone episode with the human jack-in-the-box - but Morrison made it work even for me. Could anyone else do that? Maybe two or three other comics writers I can think of - maybe. And even in that group, I suspect Morrison's the only one who really believes in and loves the concept.

Just received this bad boy from Amazon, my ladies Xmas gift to me, chosen by me, paid for by me...hmmm Quite surprised really as I only placed the order a week ago (book plus exchange plus international postage$20 =$67NZ or about half what it would sell over here) and with all the xmas traffic I thought I would be luckt to see it this year, let alone before xmas.

Nice. I think I'm going to get that too. The page to price ratio is in the range I like in a hardcover, and I like large volumes too.

Is that baby sucking on a breast? That was allowed to go to print cover? I'm not complaining about the content. I'm just surprised that it was allowed with how the USA is.

I don't think there's a law against it.

Well, the cover for issue #1 was this: There was some negative reception from this cover, so my own personal theory about the HC collection cover is that it's basically a big middle finger to everyone who complained about issue #1.

You know I honestly didn't even remember the breast feeding until someone complained about it online.

I'm a big fan of Saga, but since I have all the issues digitally, I think I'm going to wait before I start buying hardcovers.
It's an interesting personal observation, I think, but I've noticed that images like the Saga image, that depict breast feeding, never strike me as being even remotely "sexual." I'm about as far from an exhibitionist as one can get, but that image never bothered me in the slightest. The perks of getting the message and the context, I suppose.

So... Dum-Dum Dugan was never Dum-Dum Dugan since the 60s, but an advanced LMD. The real one, the one who fought WWII, has been dead since then.
Yeah, that makes the character so much more interesting. (Maybe an academic point, since Marvel decided to kill him. Again).
Is there no one at Marvel to say, once in a while, "man, this is a terrible idea"?

Compared to most people, I'd probably be classified as being on the more prudish side of the spectrum, but of all things breastfeeding should get a pass.
