Argos: "No more of this! This ends now! We kill Everyman so everything goes back to normal!"

Orion: "It does not, not yet."



Black Adam: "The fight is just getting started though!"

Black Adam races towards the Nazi Power Guy. Power Guy does the same, they clash, one hitting the other in the face, the other hitting him in the stomach, they both get knocked backwards.

Infierna Verde sends a blast of fire at Isis, as Everyman starts to get up.



Isis: "Enough of this!"

Isis takes control of nature, and an earth quake erupts in the tarnished Hall of Justice, strong vines, and plants engulf Infierna Verde, she screams. Power Guy dives towards Isis, ready to inflict pain, he gets 1 foot away from her, and she punches him and he falls to the side, PG gets up, wiping the blood from his lip.



Power Guy: "Your going to wish you never did that."

Black Adam flies up: "Your going to wish you never threatened her! RRRRrrraaahhhh"

Black Adam tackles him, sending him through two walls of the Hall.



Everyman gets up, and Argos waits his next move. Everyman runs up to him, swinging in anger, Argos dodges all but one, but continues to counter his moves. Argos swings, but he becomes intangable, and Argos's fist goes right through him.

Argos: "Aren't you a tricky little--"

Everyman: "Yep!"

Everyman hits hit with a roundhouse, and then a punch in the side.

Orion: "The battle ends here!"

Argos: "Sorry "Everyman", that’s my cue."

Orion and Argos head for the torn roof of the Hall.

Orion: "Black Adam, Isis, this way!"

Black Adam: "I've never retreated from battle!"

Orion: "We leave now, or risk failing our mission!"

They all follow. They stop 20 yards from the netted Hawk Warrior. Airwave and the Wonder Twins are still by Hawk Warrior.

Black Adam says with a temper: "Why must we leave battle to only stop a small distance from where the battle was?"

Orion: "We were not retreating from battle, we are moving the battle out here."

Argos: "Why father?"

Orion: "Because this the only way we will win this battle. Son, release Hawk Warrior!"

Argos: "How--"

Orion: "You will know! Now go!"







Argos takes off, while Airwave and the Wonder Twins await his arrival. Argos runs straight towards Airwave, who begins to run at him. Right before Airwave gets right at him, he moves to the left, sticks his right leg out, beginning to trip him, and then chops him in the back of the neck. Isis flies towards the Wonder Twins, Zan turns into a large bubble of water right on Isis, Jayna turns into a great white shark and swims at Isis, trying to bite her. She summons nature, and a marsh of seaweed envelops Jayna's shark form, where it appears that she cannot breathe, she turns back into her human form, and begins gasping for air, but she cannot get any. Zan, noticing this, turns back to normal. Zan runs to hear rescue, as she begins to cough up water.

Zan: "I'll get you for this."

Zan turns back into a giant bubble of water, on top of Isis, she flies above the bubble of water, and creates another earth quake, it engulfs Zan. Argos manages to make it to Hawk Warrior, and cut him loose.

Inside the Hall of Justice



Sargona arrives to help Infierna. Power Guy heads outside towards Orion specifically. Sargona and Infierna Verde follow him.

Orion: "This is your part in the mission, Black Adam. Take out Sargona first, I will handle the other two."

Black Adam: "What ever you say."

Black Adam flies towards Sargona. She casts a spell saying "Mada Kcalb yas lliw ouy."

Black Adam: "... Black Adam... You witch!"

Black Adam turns into his normal self.

Sargona casts another spell saying "Kaeps ton lliw ouy."

Black Adam remains speechless from this spell.

Orion's mission for Black Adam seems to only occupy Sargona so he may escape through time to follow Everyman once again.

Orion teleports back to the time barrier, without anyone else to help him along his journey.

Power Guy: "Sargona, bring him back!"

Sargona: "I do not have the powers for that!"

Power Guy: "Well we still have some to kill at least!" as he smirks.

Inside the time barrier

Orion teleports back to where he first came out of the boom tube, at the Hall of Justice, he hides behind a pillar in the conference room where he recruited the five ToJ members. He hears the same wooshing noise Hawkgirl heard before they were teleported into the time barrier for the first time. He see's a shadow run by. He chases after it, once everyone has left the boom tube. He realizes he has only seconds before everyone in the Hall of Justice resets, in positions he already knows they will be in. He floats in his chair, past every checkmark he knows he will be hidden in. He see's Everyman, and races towards him.

Everyman says quietly: "Why isn't it old Orion, come to get me with his broken chair!"

Orion also says quietly: "I am going to kill you."

Everyman: "I would like to see you try!"

Everyman walks up to him, in the corner of a room, and says: "Come on have a try at me!"

Orion: "You really know nothing, for a person possessing the power to gain all knowledge, you surely should know by now that you are doomed."

Everyman: "Should I? Or is that just one of those heroic talks before you try to stop me?"

Orion: "I don't have to talk to be heroic, and I don't have to be heroic to defeat you. I just have to be more prepared than you."

Everyman: "Are you?"

Orion: "You have managed to ravage out my youthful symbolism with your smug attitude."

Everyman: "And what would that symbolism be, my dottering old friend?"

Orion: "Die, you b@st@rd!"

Orion presses a button on his Mobius chair, he lights up, continuously getting brighter. Everyman tries to teleport, but he doesn't have any time to. The sound, almost of twisting metal is heard, light dims, and they are both gone.

Orion teleports to the Hall of Justice, to tell his son goodbye.

He arrives at the battle, and pauses time, to where him and his son are the only ones not paused. His son see's him, and walks over.

Argos: "Father, you look as if you are fading?"

Orion: "Yes my son, I am?"

Argos: "Why?!"

Orion: "It was how it was supposed to be, I am dying, and there is no coming back."

Argos looks away for a second, upset of what he has just heard.

Argos: "Did you do it? Did you stop him?!"

Orion: "Yes."

Argos: "How?"

Orion: "I used all my energy to kill him, which includes sacrificing myself."

Argos: "... Why couldn't you just do that in the first place?"

Orion: "Because this was the only time I would be able too, where it could work out like this. I'll be telling you goodbye soon."

Argos: "Goodbye? Can I just spend a little more time with you?"

Orion: "We have 10 minutes before I am called away."

Argos: "Where are you going?"

Orion: "Argos, this is something you must understand, I was only brought back, to complete my mission, which was to save your world, after that, I return from where I came, I begin a new mission in life. I am glad I was able to cross paths with you, my son."

Argos: "Will I ever see you again?"

Orion: "A part of the agreement was that if I completed the mission, I would have my chair fixed, so I could pause time, to spend this last time with you, it was the closest thing to being with you forever."

Argos: "Who did you agree with?"

Orion: "That I cannot tell... I love you my son, I am very proud of what you've become."

Argos: "I love you too, father. I am very proud to be your son."

Orion: "I wish I could spend so much more time with you, but this is the way things are destined to play out, I knew this from the beginning."

Argos: "From the beginning? You mean that you knew how your mission was going to play out?"

Orion: "I knew. I knew that the only way I could have said goodbye to you, was by taking the path I did."

Argos: "So stopping Everyman wasn't even a concern?"

Orion: "From the beginning it was, but once my chair was damaged, I knew that he was just another obstacle. I overcame it, for two reasons, I chose the path I did, for two reasons, to say goodbye to you, and to give you a memory of me to be with you always."

Argos: "Will any of my friends remember this?"

Orion: "No, just you."

Argos: "What about Hawkgirl? What about Nightvision? Will they be okay?"

Orion: "Yes. Once time resets, to before the original Metron was killed, everything will be as it was. Remember this my son, never tell anyone of what happened, or of me, or the battles that have taken place."

Argos: "So the original Metron will be back?... I won't, father."

Orion: "No, once someone is killed between dimensions, they're is no reversal of it."

Argos: "I am so thankful that I was given the opportunity of seeing you."

Orion: "So am I."

Orion: "I must go, it is my time."

Argos: "I love you father, very much."

Orion: "I love you too, son. Goodbye."

Argos hugs him, and he then disappears. Argos looks up in the sky, and a tear begins to roll down his face. He closes his eyes. When he opens them back up, he is back in his room, revealing De Ja Vu, of having remember hearing Infierna Verde's scream, and the death of the first Metron. He waits, as if expecting it to happen, but nothing. He hears a knock on his door, he opens it to find Nightvision, warning him that False face has killed someone, and is on the loose.

Argos: "I am ready."



Nightvision, runs out of the Hall of Justice, with Power Guy, Infierna Verde, Black Adam, Isis, Sargona, Hawkgirl, Hawk Warrior, Airwave, and the Wonder Twins following behind. Argos stops in his doorway for a second, and says quitely: "I will always remember you father.", And puts on his helmet, and runs out of the Hall of Justice, following the others.
