Titans of Justice Unlimited Chapter 108 - “Fall From Grace Part 2”

The United Nations Headquarters…

Delegates from countries all over the world had rushed to New York City for the emergency meeting that had been called. Both the president and vice president of the United States were reported missing thanks to a final cell phone call made by one of the secret service men aboard Air Force One as the Titans of Justice administered their judgment upon the leadership of America.

Several leaders of the world were in a state of panic fearing for their lives, especially those that were from countries that had past altercations with the Titans of Justice.

“My king is very worried about his prince!” spoke up a representative from Markovia.

“As is my Chancellor,” advised the ambassador of German. “With all of the conflicts between the Titans of Justice and Fausta, my leader is sure he will be a target!”

“I don’t blame you,” commented the representative from Egypt, “Thanks to that harem villainess Nefertiti, my president fears the Titans wrath against her will be taken out on him!”

As the hysteria began to spread like a disease, Amanda Waller entered the room and took the podium. “You all SHOULD be very scared. The Titans of Justice have finally shown their true colors and now, everyone on the planet is in danger” reinforced the leader of the Suicide Squad.





“But what can we do?” called out a delegate.

“There are dozens of them!” shouted another.

“Even our missiles won’t be able to stop them!” screamed another.

“Everyone needs to calm down,” Waller said, raising her voice. “We many not have super-powers but we’re not defenseless. There are those with metahuman abilities that are more than willing to do the right thing and protect the human race. I’m currently in contact with several groups who are more than willing to help us apprehend the Titans and bring them to justice….”

Suddenly, one of the windows was shattered and several members of the Titans of Justice filled the room.

Panic and fear immediately filled the room. People began rushing for the doors, fearing for their lives but before any of them could reach the doors, Green Lantern, Starman, and Supergirl welded them all shut. Waller had remained at the podium with a defiant look on her face, ready to face whatever hand Fate had decided to deal her.

Power Guy glanced down at the stocky woman , “Neither your Suicide Squad or the Outsiders stand a chance against us….” he began as Green Lantern surrounded Waller in a green bubble, making sure she couldn’t escape. “Look at you, standing there all smug and hypocritical. You’re as fake and phony as government officials come. How many deals have you made under the table? How many people have you blackmailed to get ahead? How many people have you sent to their deaths to achieve your own ends?”





“More than I can count so let’s add a few more to the list!” Waller said, drawing a special gun and firing it at Power Guy. The beam from the gun just hit the wall of the power-bubble she was in and dissipated. “Dammit….Faulkner swore this thing would work!” grumbled Waller.

“Look at you, panicking like scared dog,” smiled Power Guy. “Earlier today, we held the President accountable for his recent actions. He’s been relieved of his duties……….as are you,” announced the Kryptonian powerhouse as his eyes lit up from his heat-vision.

Just then, various members of the Justice League of America and the original Titans burst into the room. A green beam from Hal Jordan’s power-ring shattered the power-bubble that Amanda Waller was in and surrounded her with a force-field until Barry Allen aka the Flash whizzed by and grabbed Waller, escorting her to safety in the blink of an eye.

Superman flew into Power Guy and slammed his fist into his face, “I don’t know what’s gotten into all of you but this is as far as you go until we figure out what’s wrong!”

“Superman’s right!” agreed Hawkman as he flew towards Hawk Warrior. “Something’s going on with you guys. Whether it’s mind-control, manipulation by magic, or something else, we’re shutting you down until we get this cleared up!” he decreed, slamming his Nth Metal Axe into his son’s right wing, chopping it off and sending him plummeting into the ground.

Zatanna found herself conflicted with emotion as she took on her daughter. The two had been at odds since Sargona found out that she was her mother. She quickly focused her Homo Magi powers on a large curtain in the room, “Niatruc, partne ym rethguad tub mrah reh ton!” Instantly, Sargona found herself wrapped in the immense drape.

The Huntress began looking all around, trying to spot her father but before she knew it, she was secured by one of his Bat-ropes. “How did you…” she began to ask as Batman dropped in front of her face.

“I don’t care how good you’ve become, I’m still the master and you’re still the student!” replied the World’s Greatest Detective.

Meanwhile, the Huntress’ sometimes partner, Nightvision, found himself locked in combat with his dad, who was wearing his Red Robin costume. In a matter of seconds, Nightvision found himself punched and kicked several times, landing on his back. As he picked himself up, he noticed that his father had disappeared from view. Suddenly, his arms were pulled behind his back and he was locked in handcuffs.

A ways away, Wonder Man found himself confronted by his Aunt Donna,

“This is breaking your mother’s heart,” revealed Troia. “She can’t even bring herself to take you down,”

Wonder Man glanced across the room and saw his mother, Wonder Woman was in the midst of battle with Argos. “That’s because she’s grown weak! Hippolyta could have easily taken mother down if she felt the need!”

“Listen to yourself,” Troia said as she punched Wonder Man in the face. “This isn’t like you. Where’s the sweet and compassionate nephew that I know? By Zeus, I gave you my silver lasso….”

“You’re living in the past. Let me knock you into the present!” smirked Wonder Man as he cocked his fist back, ready to punch the founding member of the Teen Titans until he found himself kneed in the groin by her.

Troia wasted no time and slammed both of her fists into Wonder Man’s temples, forcing him to collapse. “I love you with all my heart, Scott, but still, I can’t let you keep acting the way that you have been.” she whispered as a tear dripped from her eye.

As Troia took down Wonder Man, her older sister was still busy trying to neutralize Argos and now Sturmer. Sturmer had tackled Wonder Woman to the ground and had her pinned, growling like he was preparing for the kill.

“Sturmer! Release me! Do you not remember when we fought together when Orion was part of the Justice League?!?!” reminded Wonder Woman as she continued to struggle against the giant dog.

“It doesn’t matter if you take him down memory-lane, Amazon, he only listens to me!” gloated Argos as he stepped towards the princess of power.

“So be it then!” declared Wonder Woman as a sharp upper-cut from her struck Sturmer’s jaw, sending him sailing across the room. “If you two are going to treat me as an enemy, I shall return the favor!” she said, ramming into Argos.

As the two powerhouses began exchanging blows, the entire floor of the building began shakings. This quickly turned into more than a mere scrap as this was not two high school adversaries duking it out but rather two prime selections from advanced warrior races. Both of these people had been trained all of their lives for the duty of battle and neither was ready to let up until victory was achieved. Argos kicked Wonder Woman in her rip-cage, hoping to knock the wind out of her but thanks to the speed of Mercury, she was able to move her lower torso just enough so that Argos’ foot struck her stomach in stead and while the blow hurt immensely, it was far than enough to put her down for the count. She quickly countered by jamming her right elbow into Argos’ face, stunning him. She then punched him in the neck and then promptly slammed his forehead into her right kneecap, leaving him groggy and temporarily lethargic.

As several of the JLA’s heavy-hitters lead the assault on the Titans of Justice, other members of the World’s Greatest Super Heroes were busy helping the United Nations’ delegates escape. “Everyone! Go through this door!” hollered Aquaman as he punched open a door that Supergirl had previously sealed with her heat-vision.





“You’re only delaying the inevitable by letting them escape!” came a voice. Aquaman whipped around to see his “nephew” Whirlpool in his face. “Arin, what in the name of Neptune has gotten into you and your friends???”

“Nothing! We’re just tired of people trying to hinder our potential………..and right now, that includes YOU!” screamed Whirlpool as he punched the king of Atlantis in the face,

The punch only angered Aquaman. As he steadied himself and prepared to counter-attack, Tempest joined in the fray.

“That’s enough out of you, son! You need to cool off!” directed the former Aqualad as he used his temperature-control powers to freeze his son in a block of ice.

A short distance away, the Martian Manhunter was confronting his daughter, Ms Mars. “G’ina! You recent actions demand an explanation!”

“Sorry, daddy dearest, I’m in no mood to talk!” spat the young, female Martian.

“Wait a minute…” began the man known as J’onn J’onzz as he began to sift through his daughter’s thoughts. “Moons of Mars!” he gasped right before his mind was ransacked with devastating feedback from a counter-attack from his beloved daughter.

“Ha! That’s what you get for trying to probe my mind!” scoffed Ms. Mars as her father dropped from the sky. Luckily for the founding member of the Justice League, his old teammate Aquaman saw what was going on and rushed to his aid, leaping into the air and catching him before he could hit the ground below.

“What have you done to him?!?!?!” demanded undersea monarch.

“Nothing compared to what I’m about to do to you!” countered Ms. Mars as she used her shape-shifting powers to turn into a giant dragon, fire spewing out of her mouth.

The battles between the JLA, original Titans, and the Titans of Justice raged on with the latest round of contenders being Black Canary and Sonic Boom. “Stand down now, Di Di! We both know I’m the better fighter and your sonic powers won’t work on me!” Dinah Queen shouted as she kicked her daughter in the chin, startling her.

Then a voice came from behind the second Black Canary, “Maybe her sonic powers won’t work on you, but mine will!”

Black Canary turned to see she was being confronted by Air Wave. Without hesitation, Air Wave released his signature bass-blast, knocking Black Canary half-way across the room.





“Nice use of your powers, Air Wave,” smiled Sonic Boom. “Let’s say we kick it up a notch and end this farce!” She then called over to another one of her teammates, “Jem - NOW!”

Air Wave took the queue and switched the frequency of his powers to a high-pitched tone and Sonic Boom and Jemstone joined right in with their own sonic abilities. Thanks to the protective earplugs the Titans of Justice wore, they were unaffected by Air Wave, Sonic Boom, and Jem’s powers though the JLA and the original Titans could not say the same. Each and everyone of them was immediately in immense pain, their eardrums about to burst. Even the heavyweights such as Superman, Wonder Woman, and Troia were powerless against this attack, dropping to their knees in agony.

“We’ve got them on the ropes!” pointed out Jem.





“This will seal the deal!” cried out Air Wave as he changed his powers’ frequency yet again, this time emitting a low-pitched sound that put all of his adversaries present, to sleep.

“Let’s get out of here!” directed Green Lantern, forming a power-bubble for the non-flying members of his team to ride in.





On the way out, Power Lad look back for a second and shouted, “We did it! We beat the #*(%!^@ JLA!!!”





“Now, let’s go show the rest of the world that we mean business!” directed Power Guy.
