Dan, you probably mentioned it and I missed it, but who is your team?

The Red Sox, vaguely. And to a lesser extent, everyone who isn't the Yankees.
My real (i.e. fantasy) team is the Hand-Fed Tigers.

Ok, I'm pretty sure I knew that.

The return on the Stephen Drew deal-Kelly Johnson to the Sox...would have preferred a bag of batting practice balls....but trading Drew is addition by subtraction.

It will be interesting to see the Sox defensive alignment come Friday's game....
Napoli at first, Pedey at second are givens. Vazquez or Ross behind the plate. The rest?
Boegarts back to short? Holt settling in at 3B? Johnson? Call Middlebrooks back up? Cespedes in LF? Craig in RF? JBJ center? wherefore Victorino if he's healthy? Nava has been one of their hotter hitters-will he be 5th OF? If Holt's not at third does he take CF and JBJ sit? Farreel certainly has his work cut out for him....

I heard it was gonna be Boegarts at 3B and Craig and Cesepedes swapped.

I actually may have heard Boegarts at 3B before the Drew trade, if that changes anything. I have watched precious little AL ball this year.

Victorino may go to the DL. Ranaudo starts Friday vs. Yanks. Looks like extended tryouts to see what they'll do in the off- season.

That overturn in the Reds game was awful. The umpire telling Redmon and the pitcher that agreed with them was hilarious.
Marlins announcers are livid.

Another complete game for Klayton Kershaw, lowering is ERA to a MLB best 1.71, and 9 more strikeouts. Dogders 3 1/2 over San Francisco.

When I call home my Dad almost instantly starts ticking off Mike Reis, Gary Tanguay, Bob Ryan, everyone except Dennis and Callaghan (we're leftists in my family see). Remember Ron Hobson from the Patriot Ledger?
Mind you I still keep up-to-the-minute with everything but it yeah... leading off the 6 o'clock news?

Come on, Paulie, what'd you expect? They say it's a Pats town now, but the Sox can move every other team off Page One at will. Were you here for chicken and beer and the Valentine fiasco? It was As the World Turns for weeks!
We're lefties, too: D and C in the morning make Neanderthals look like the Algonquin Round Table. Ryan still writes a couple of Sundays a month in the Globe. When you're hungry for news of all things sporting in Boston, read Chad Finn on Boston.com.

Finn is good.
Genius quote about D and C.
Thanks to Facebook and seeing my old friends and all the media posts I didn't miss a second of the chicken and beer stuff though I will admit to not getting the full whiff of what exactly happened with the Bobby V fiasco.

Anyone know if the Arena League Football Playoff games are being broadcast on cable? I couldn't find the game that was scheduled for 2PM on TV and I can't find any information about what channels it's being broadcast on or even what the score is online.
