Last Time In Super Friends:
Blue Dolphin, the daughter of Deep Blue, wants her prince - and she wants him now! She captures all of Whirlpool’s dearest friends, hoping to attract him to her! Meanwhile, Blue Marlin and a mysterious stranger are planning to overthrow Deep Blue’s reign on her kingdom! Unlucky for the two siblings, Whirlpool has back-up and is ready to rescue his friends in Deep Deep Blue, Part 2!
Deep Blue swam towards Atlantis happily, excited about seeing her good friends Arthur and Mera after not visiting them for at least six months. As she swam closer to the blue kingdom in the distance, she noticed a familiar green heap on the seabed…
“Hey, I’ve seen him before,” Deep Blue thought, swimming closer. Her eyes widened in horror. “LAGOON MAN!”
“Urgh…can’t feel my back…” Lagoon Man groaned as Deep Blue tried to unsuccessfully pick him up. “Tula! She has Tula!”
“What? Lagoon Man, who has Tula?”
“Your…dau…”
Deep Blue panicked as Lagoon Man fell unconscious in her arms. ‘I can’t just leave my friend here, but I need to alert Arthur…what do I do? I guess I could use my super strength but I haven’t used those powers properly for a long while…guess I’m just going to have to get him to Atlantis by myself.” Deep Blue grabbed Lagoon Man under his armpits and slowly dragged him across the sea towards Atlantis.
The Atlantic Ocean, not far from Deep Blue’s castle
“Come on guys, keep up with me,” Whirlpool growled as he propelled himself through the sea as fast as a speedboat.
“It’s pretty hard to keep up with an Atlantean who spent most of his life in the waters,” Bulletboy complained, “plus, I think I’m starting to rust!”
“Part and parcel of being a superhero my friend,” Power Lad smiled as he swam past Bulletboy. “Sometimes you gotta take risks, even if that means having to crank out the WD-40 after a long day’s swim!”
Bulletboy sighed as the group of boys continued to swim on silence. Whirlpool led the way with a look of anger on his face, leaving the rest of the group far behind him. Not long after the discussion ended, the Atlantean prince noticed the stony castle that Deep Blue and her children lived in.
“The girls are in there,” Whirlpool said as the boys caught up.
“Wait a minute, how do you know this? We had no clues that this Monica girl had anything to do with this!” Air Wave pointed out.
“As embarrassing as it sounds, I can talk to fish,” Whirlpool replied, to the delight of Power Lad. “The fish told me a bunch of whales with girls in their mouths were heading in this direction.” His face was serious and stony. “Come on, we should head over there as quickly as possible.”
“You’re right, fish boy,” Power Lad agreed, “the sooner we rescue our girls, the better!”

From the castle, Blue Dolphin looked at the team of boys through a telescope.
“Huh?!? Whirlpool wasn’t supposed to bring backup!” Blue Dolphin said. “Guess I’m going to have to change my plans a little bit…”

“This place gives me the creeps, it’s so dark and cold,” Bulletboy murmured, not noticing that a huge, black shadow was looming behind him until it swam into his back, knocking him forward.
“URGH!” Bulletboy shouted as a killer whale swam above him and slapped Power Lad with his tail.
“What the hell?” Air Wave cursed in disbelief, as Whirlpool put his index and middle fingers to his temples and closed his eyes.
“We have to subdue it,” White Wraith ordered, firing his magic at the whale. The killer whale dodged his attack and the magic bolt hit Stellar in the chest. “Stellar, are you alright,” White Wraith asked as the boy tried to get back on his feet.
“I’ll be fine…just give me a minute, dude,” he replied, giving the ghost two thumbs up.
“Air Wave, cover me whilst I try to take control of the killer whale,” Whirlpool said. Air Wave nodded and stood guard in front of the Atlantean.
“I’m going to try and shoot the thing,” Bulletboy warned his team-mates, “stand back!” Bulletboy fired three bullets from his left palm. All three hit the killer whale in the side. He fell to the seabed, whining. “I got him!” Bulletboy grinned, swimming in close to him.
“Bulletboy, get back!” Whirlpool shouted desperately. “He’s still -”
The killer whale suddenly span around and head-butted Bulletboy, sending him flying. His helmet cracked down the middle as he landed with massive impact.
“BULLETBOY!” Stellar screamed, as he and Kai-Ro swam over to the rookie hero as fast as they could.
Power Lad grabbed the killer whale’s fin and tried to hold it back from attacking the group any longer. “Whirlpool, do your magic!” He groaned, “I can’t hold this thing for much longer!”
“I’m getting in its mind now…” Whirlpool informed the team, as his knees began to buckle. “Monica is in there as well, she’s commanding him to attack you guys. I reckon I can break through her barrier and take control of the whale….THERE!”
Power Lad let go of the killer whale, sighing as it swam away hurriedly.
“That cousin of yours really has it in for us,” Air Wave said angrily, “what else can she do?”
“I have no idea, I know nothing about her,” Whirlpool explained as Stellar swam up to the group.
“Bulletboy’s down and he’s not getting back up,” Stellar said sadly. “One of us is gonna have to stay here and look after him.”
“I’ll stay,” Kai-Ro offered, “to be honest, you guys have a better chance of defeating her. Plus, if anybody comes our way, I can use my powers to turn us both invisible so we can’t be detected!”
“Good idea Kai-Ro,” Whirlpool smiled at the boys plan, “the rest of you, follow me!”

Atlantis…
“ARTHUR! ARTHUR!”
Deep Blue dragged Lagoon Man through the castle of Atlantis, sweating and panting heavily.
“ARTHUR, WHERE ARE YOU?”
Deep Blue kicked her way into Arthur’s study, who jumped as she dropped Lagoon Man to the floor.
“Debbie, what’s -”
“Lagoon Man, he’s been attacked by something! His back is all crushed and he’s said that Tula has been kidnapped!”
“What?” Arthur growled, leaving the study quickly. “Who has taken my grand-daughter?!?”
“I have an idea, but you won‘t like it” Deep Blue replied solemnly.
“Debbie, tell me where Tula is now,” Arthur ordered, leaving the castle quickly, followed closely by Deep Blue.
“Lagoon Man, I think he tried to say…that it was my daughter that took her!”
“What, Monica?” Arthur said in disbelief, “I very much doubt that your child would kidnap Tula.”
“Arthur, face facts,” Deep Blue replied quickly, “we all know I wasn’t the most angelic girl when I was in my prime…I fear my daughter is going to do something stupid, and I know she has it in her blood.”
“As much as I hate to say it, you have a point, Debbie,” Arthur agreed. “Now let’s hurry up and get to your castle, so we can sort this out before anything bad happens!”

Deep Blue’s Castle
Power Lad punched through the door to the castle, then ripped it apart with his bare hands.
“SUPER FRIENDS, GO!” He shouted, half-flying, half-swimming through the hole. Air Wave, Stellar, White Wraith and Whirlpool followed him, all swimming as fast as they could, until they reached a huge, circular room. Two sets of stairs spiraled up to a door near the top of the room. Standing on the small balcony at the top, was Blue Dolphin.
“MONICA! WHERE ARE THE GIRLS?” Whirlpool demanded.
“They are safe, Arin,” Blue Dolphin replied, “oh, and please, call me Blue Dolphin!”
“Blue Dolphin,” Whirlpool said slowly and angrily, “Where. Are. They.”
“I’ll give them to you if your friends leave my home…and, if you stay with me tonight.”
“Eeeew,” Power Lad grimaced, pretending to vomit. “Dude, she wants your babies!”
“I am not going to…stay with you, Blue Dolphin. Tell us where the girls are, and we won’t have to hurt you.”
“That’s not an option, Arin,” Blue Dolphin grinned, “oh well, guess I’ll just leave you to my seaweed.”
“What is she talking about?” Stellar asked. Suddenly, the floor rumbled, and in a matter of seconds, huge vines crashed through the floor and created a jungle in front of their very eyes.
“Anybody got a plan to get through that?” Air Wave asked timidly.
“I have one,” Power Lad shouted, swimming into the vines. “TRY TO STAY ALIVE!”
The boys swam into the vines, dodging them as they tried to grab them. Whirlpool screamed as a vine wrapped itself around his chest and smashed him into the roof. Whirlpool gasped for breath as the vine tried to suffocate him and hold him against the roof.
Power Lad yelled his favorite battle cry as he punched his way through the vines, shouting when they pulled him back and struck him. Air Wave turned his low-pitched sound powers to full power, practically blasting his way through the vines, grinning as they fell back into the floor. White Wraith flew towards Whirlpool, using his magic bolts to stun the vine. It let go, releasing Whirlpool. He clutched his ribs as he choked. White Wraith grabbed him and swam ahead, blasting the vines out of his way. Stellar shouted for help as three vines wrapped themselves around him and pinned him to the floor. Another, smaller vine wrapped itself around his mouth so he couldn’t cry out for help for any longer.
“Almost there,” Power Lad shouted loudly, kicking a vine out of his way and reaching the balcony. He rammed into the door, opening it and saving him from the vines. He stopped for breath, as Air Wave reached safety as well.
“Man, I hope the others are alright…” he said, looking out for the others like a hawk. White Wraith and Whirlpool appeared from underneath a vine. Whirlpool signaled for them to get away as more vines chased them through. The quartet swam through the cramped hallway as the vines followed them through viciously.
“Somebody stop them!” Air Wave shouted as he desperately tried to swim away. White Wraith spun around and created a wall of mystic energy. The vines slammed against it, but the wall did not budge.
“That should hold them off for a while,” he grinned, following the group into the dining room of the castle.
“Hey, where’s Stellar?” Whirlpool asked the group.
“It doesn‘t matter for now,” Power Lad said, “we have to find out where Blue Dolphin is hiding herself.”
“You won’t ever find out where she is!”
The quartet gasped as a blue-skinned boy who didn’t look much older than them appeared at the other side of the room. In his hands was a large, silver sword that twinkled in the water.
“And who are you?” Whirlpool said, as pressurized water formed around his hands.
“I am Kenshiro Perkins, or Blue Marlin to the superhero community. Don’t you remember your own cousin?”
“I should have known you’d pop up somewhere,” Whirlpool scowled. “So are you just going to stand there, or are you gonna fight us?”
“It’s my pleasure, cousin!” Blue Marlin shouted, running across the table. Whirlpool fired two balls of pressurized water at him, but he used his sword to deflect the attacks. Whirlpool cursed as Blue Marlin tried to slash him with his sword. The Atlantean rolled out of the way quickly, laughing as the boy’s sword got stuck in the floor. Blue Marlin pulled it out of the ground quickly, and slashed Power Lad across the chest.
“Power Lad! That sword has magic properties!” Whirlpool cried out, seemingly in vane.
“Hey! What did you do that for?” Power Lad said, as Blue Marlin swung at him again. The boy had no time to react as he was slashed across both of his arms and legs. Power Lad fainted as he saw his own blood dripping from him.
“Guys, stay alert! This guy means business,” Air Wave said, creating distance between him and Blue Marlin. He ran after Air Wave, trying to stab him. Air Wave used a high pitched sound on his belt to make the swordsman fall to his knees.
“You may have made Power Lad go down easily, but not me!” Air Wave laughed. Blue Marlin suddenly swept his sword towards Air Wave, cutting his leg. Air Wave fell to the ground and clutched his leg.
“Maybe you won’t fare as well against me,” White Wraith threatened, using his powers to create a dark sword. He clashed with Blue Marlin, who seemed to have finally met his match. White Wraith blocked every single one of his swipes with his own sword. “Whirlpool, catch Blue Dolphin,” White Wraith ordered, “leave this annoying brat to me!”
Whirlpool nodded and swam across the room towards another door.
“Whirlpool, wait!”
Whirlpool turned around. Air Wave swam towards him, flinching as his leg bled. “I’m coming with you, dude.”
“Air Wave, you’re in no condition to keep battling. Stay here and -”
“NO! I’m coming with you, you can’t stop me. I’m not going to be completely useless in this mission,” he begged. Whirlpool nodded, and opened the door.
“Okay then, but try to keep up.”
Whirlpool and Air Wave swam through the castle, looking for any signs of Blue Dolphin. After searching the whole castle, they came to the throne room.
“My guesses are, she’s in there,” Whirlpool said. Air Wave nodded in agreement. Whirlpool opened the door slowly, revealing a large room with a golden throne at the other end. Blue Dolphin smiled as Whirlpool swam towards her angrily.
“Where are they,” Whirlpool asked again. His face was inches away from Blue Dolphin’s.
“Oh Whirlpool, you do make me smile!” Blue Dolphin laughed. “Now, let me make you smile!” Blue Dolphin grabbed Whirlpool’s costume and pulled him closer to her. She kissed him passionately on the lips until she couldn’t breathe. When she let go, Whirlpool was grinning stupidly and his cheeks were pink.
“Now then Arin darling, what do you say to being my Prince Charming?”

“Okay then, but try to keep up.”
Whirlpool and Air Wave swam through the castle, looking for any signs of Blue Dolphin. After searching the whole castle, they came to the throne room.
“My guesses are, she’s in there,” Whirlpool said. Air Wave nodded in agreement. Whirlpool opened the door slowly, revealing a large room with a golden throne at the other end. Blue Dolphin smiled as Whirlpool swam towards her angrily.
“Where are they,” Whirlpool asked again. His face was inches away from Blue Dolphin’s.
“Oh Whirlpool, you do make me smile!” Blue Dolphin laughed. “Now, let me make you smile!” Blue Dolphin grabbed Whirlpool’s costume and pulled him closer to her. She kissed him passionately on the lips until she couldn’t breathe. When she let go, Whirlpool was grinning stupidly and his cheeks were pink.
“Now then Arin darling, what do you say to being my Prince Charming?”
