Those old curmudgeons just can't put away the alcohol like they used to I guess.

No hangover for this recovering alcoholic, friends, just too damned tired to post!
The meet-up didn't go quite as planned, as it turned out the 5 Point Cafe was not particularly wheelchair-friendly (though our awesome waitress made a heroic effort to work it out). Next year we'll be trying somewhere else. At any rate, we had a much smaller turnout than last year (far fewer folks from out of town this go-round) but the folks who were there--myself, Rob, Greg and Julie Hatcher, Jim MacQuarrie, Dr. Cyclops and his wife, my comic-collecting niece, her best friend, and three of Greg's current/former students--enjoyed themselves immensely. Alas, Rob and I had to bow out early to catch the bus back to Tacoma.
As for the convention proper, I'll post about that shortly in the "What Have You Purchased" thread.
Cei-U! I summon the slowly recharging energy reserves!

Toying with the idea of making another trip to Seattle this year. I see Saturday tickets are already sold out, but I can still get tix for the other days. I imagine I should decide soon, though. I've been intending a trip to Portland and seems like I could combine the two.
I assume there will still be the traditional dinner if I do make it?

Rob and I are working on the details now. It would be pretty freakin' cool if you could join us. Cei-U! And that goes for all of you!

One of these years I will make it to Emerald City. I tend to go to smaller comic cons (the big cons I did were usually gaming related not comic related, but Emerald City is the one larger con I want to go to someday (and a part of thee country I've never been to and want to get to). Won't be this year or next for certain, but maybe soon after that.

I was seriously brainstorming to try to get to this show this year but I was blindsided when my wife told me that her family was visiting that week. It was a long shot anyway because it would be a long trip rom NYC.

Dear Everyone,
I just can't attend the CCF NW Get-Together this year because my weekends are extremely busy trying to sell my Father's place and among other things as well. I also run two clubs and therefore - it's pretty much out of the question to join my fellow CCF'ers to this dinner and proceed from there.

In the time I spent being indecisive, Sunday tickets went and sold out. I'll aim for 2017 and try to buy tickets sooner.

I've been meaning to get there, but it won't happen this year, but hopefully next year.
This is the con I've been most wanting to go to that I haven't been to yet and would love to get together with you guys.
Looking to 2017 !
