When cbr went nuclear they killed some threads I was following. I cannot remember the posters, but these were the subject:
Legion of Superheroes Reviews (were just starting to go into the Jim Shooter years)
Golden age superman
Dr. Strange (completed, but good reference material)
Wonder Woman Reviews (the 12 trials and Emma Peel years)
What have you bought What have you read Christmas editions
I think these made it: Bronze Age Superman Kyle Rahner Green Lantern
Many others that I cannot remember...
Would love to get more info on Aparo and the Haneyverse.

"What have you bought" and "what have you read" are here. I have saved all my Wonder Woman reviews, but I don't really have time to repost all 34 pages from the thread. Maybe someday. Someone is in the process of archiving all the Classic Christmas stuff from years past, I think that was the first thing they saved. Not sure when those saved threads will make a re-appearance, but I'm guessing they will appear at some point.

Crap, I double posted. Moderator, please delete my other thread.
Scott, the Wonder Women threads were great. It was weird how the Emma Peel years ended. Also, for much of the 70s, the JLA had no Wonder Woman.
Although not a cbr thread. I found that Mike's Amazing DC website is a huge resource.
Some other threads I remember were reviews of the Black Knight, Nick Fury and an old monster/sci-fi movies.

Wow,you just reminded me. I was sitting at a Yankees game sometime in the early 80s.Next to me was some guy in a suit.Never really looked at him until halfway into the game and realized it was Clarence Williams III. He was by himself. I think all I said was "How ya doin'?".I never know what to see if you bump into a celeb.Anyway he left an inning early and thats my Linc story

A few of those are my review threads I hope to get around to. But I am traveling and don't even have a computer to download anything large onto. Just my chromebook and kindle.
I intend to somehow see they get saved soon (there's just always more hotels and flights to book and I still have to file taxes and...) and repost them one day in some form when life settles a little.

Shax, are you using certain parameters to get httrack to work properly? I tried to archive a thread, but after 80GB and 24 hours with only 20% of the scanned files done, I was sure I had done something wrong. I would prefer working website archives as opposed to PDFing, so if you have an tips I'd love to hear them.

I will miss shaxper's 50 Greatest from the First 50 Years of Cinema Horror list. I hope it was saved so it can be brought over eventually.
I enjoyed reading about people's experiences in SUPERE's Silly, Fun Comic stories thread.
Not a Classic Forum thread but the Controversial Nerd Opinions thread was great.

Where is Shaxper's Batman review thread?! In progress. It's half moved over but being kept invisible until it's totally complete. The process is stressful/frustrating/heart-wrenching as it forces me to try to capture rich conversations that happened before all through quoting, which makes it far harder to follow/understand, so I've been taking it slow. I DO intend to have all my reviews threads restored by the end of June.
