Top 10 D&D Modules I've played 1. Temple of Elemental Evil 2. Keep on the Borderlands 3. Tomb of Horrors 4. Ghost Tower of the Inverness 5. White Plume Mountain 6. In Search of the Unknown 7. Expedition to the Barrier Peaks 8. Castle Ember 9. Isle of Dread 10. Against the Giants Is #8 supposed to be Castle Amber-X2, the one based on the Averoigne stories of Clark Ashton Smith-which if it is, I own/have played the entire list, if not, and it's Castle Ember, I don't think I ever heard of it. -M Yes, it's Castle Amber the X2 module. All of these are either Basic or Advanced D&D.

3. 2002 Ford Mustang - my current car which I plan on driving until it has 200,000 miles. My car just went over 190,000 miles this morning. I bought it brand new, a 1991 Dodge Colt. Congrats Rob !
Just upgraded my ride last July. It was time. Just shy of 29K miles and plan on taking it to 250K.

Professional athletes I've met outside a sporting venue or sporting related event... -M An impressive list M I've met 2 Sport Stars in my life, both when I was manageing an after-hours club in the late 70s -early 80s. 1 was a customer who I spent an hour or so talking to.It was former Baseball All Star Pitcher " Sudden" Sam McDowell. Sam could throw 100 MPH in his early years and had some great seasons with the Cleveland Indians.Among his best years was 1970 when he won 20 games, had a 2.92 ERA and struck out 304 batters
By the time I met him,he was out of baseball a few years. He was drinking heavily that night, didn't want to talk much about baseball, having trouble with his wife and mad at several people for some bad business investments he made. Most of that hour was him drunkenly griping about how his life was turning out and the back pain he suffered from.Felt sorry for the guy.Looking at Wikipedia I see how he really hit rock bottom later but has successfully turned it around. Its said that the Cheers character,Sam Malone played by Ted Danson was modeled after Sam DcDowell The other sports figure was a co-worker at the club, Art Heyman. Art was a big-time college basketball player for Duke University getting player of the year awards and eentully voted into Duke's Hall Of Fame .He was drafted by the NY Knicks and played for them from 1963-1965.he played for a few other NBA teams as well as for the ABA until retirement in 1970.The reason for his much travelled resume was supposedly a mercurial temper and frequent outburst I never saw that side of Art in the late 70s.But he was definitely a bit of a flake and would zone out from time to time. But besides that,he was a friendly lug.His hands were huge,he was always the biggest guy in the room. You felt safe with Art around.I knew nothing about basketball and never talked to him about it.He would go to this east side park every week to get involved in pick-up games.Pretty cool.I liked Art.He later opened his own restaurant/bar in 1996. He died in 2012.I sorry I never went to visit him at that bar

The DM asked everyone to invent a high level character from scratch and not use ones we'd developed for the first time. In very short order we understood why.
