The Professor Xavier Award for Best Discussion Starter"This guy is like the Jack Kirby of ideas when it comes to classic subjects. The Wearisome thread, Favorite Superman, Iron Man’s roller skates, The “problem” with Secret Wars. Man, this guy is prolific." "His posts are both thoughtful and fun...Supercat has the ability to make his posts informative, educational and entertaining, so that there’s plenty to discuss of depth but with all the fun that comics entails." "He started the Top decade Tournament survey, Comic Organizing question, Easter eggs, and the Missed the Boat/ Underappreciated threads. They all got lots of traffic and garnered many interesting discussions. "Not only is nearly every third new thread at the CCF pretty made by rberman, but so many of them have been fun, original, thought-provoking, and titled as cleverly as if they were bait-click! A few of my favorites from this past year include "Your Brains and My Brawn: Mind Swapping Stories", "My cousin's comics stash", Can we talk about early Bronze Age Supergirl?", "Names vs Code Name", and "Ororo Munroe and Trader Horn." "His threads sparked many discussions... some which got a little heated!" "He has started a number of discussions that explore the breadth of what comics have to offer, and brings a perspective to those discussions that is intelligent and articulate, providing fodder for some of the best discourses this site has to offer. " -- mrp "about half of the great new discussion threads are started by our founder, and they're not variations on a theme either; they're brand new and original. 'Letter pages that lied' comes to mind." -- Roquefort Raider "He started the Cerebus reading thread, Usagi Yojimbo, Best Non 2 publishers and The Superhero Movies that left an impression among others." -- Icctrombone "He's started a number of long running threads in both the classic comics section itself, as well as the off-topic forum, such as the Impossible and Goofy Covers, Classic Scans, Favorite Song, etc." -- Scott Harris
