It was nice to see Ino again, but this story always made me wonder two things, what kind of animal was Ino's wife and are interspecies offspring even possible in Usagi's world?

It was nice to see Ino again, but this story always made me wonder two things, what kind of animal was Ino's wife and are interspecies offspring even possible in Usagi's world? Heheh. Wish I could remember where, but I recall an interview where Stan indicated that he doesn't think of his characters as animals, really. I suppose any character that isn't clearly a rabbit, lion, rhino, cat, goat, or bat could be some sort of mixed race. What, for example, is Ishida? Maybe a mixed species background helps to explain why someone who clearly received a top notch education (suggesting a wealthy upbringing) holds a relatively low station beneath those who are clearly inferior to him in the ways of law enforcement. |
