Hey, what makes you think that I was the one that voted for Extreme ? Well, it's your poll... But o.k., I'm willing to entertain the notion that Cei-U! bashfully cast the so-far sole vote for the Extreme line.

To make sure we're not veering off into craziness, I did vote for Archie, BUT there's some fun stuff in the Extreme line.
I'll take Archie over Liefeld any day of the week but from Liefeld's brain and pencil, he did spring forth some characters that were pretty decent. Supreme was a good Superman pastiche but wasn't perfected until Alan Moore came on at the end. It was the best Superman book at one time. Lady Supreme when it came to a monthly, Liefeld was smart to bring in Terry Moore to write a strong positive female character. Prophet was a tough 90s read, but I bought it, but wasn't good until Brandon Graham gave that character an amazing reboot in 2012.

Cei-U! Can't say I'm sorry about it either!

Just a reminder that the poll ends on April 3. Please get any votes for Extreme in before that time.

This thread just seems incredibly masochistic. Could be worse, could be Cracked vs NFL Superpro.

I'm gonna make ICtrombone happy here..... not that I would say I LIKE 90s Image, but I definitely read it as it was coming out. I kinda didn't know better at the time, but it amused me some then.
While I appreciate Archie as a concept and that you guys like it, I can't see myself ever sitting down and reading it.

Archie characters also had FEET Liefeld probably should have studied Archie comics for help in drawing feet. (Then again, he must have studied the horse, since he seemed to draw 'hooves' on everybody!)

Middle road! *Ahem * 2. Going along with this, we ask that you not come here to badmouth other communities or persons outside of this community. Inevitably, someone else here has a stake in the argument over there, and bad blood spills over.
Leave Rob Liefeld alone..

Leave Rob Liefeld alone.. How do you know I wasn't revering the man?

you are sort of admitting some things about Liefield there with your response... 'Middle Road' is a pretty neutral comment.. maybe Shax loves that Cap pin up

Hard choice! I'm not the biggest Archie fan in the world. They have some stuff that I like (Most Sabrina stuff since the 90s [Not Chilling Adventures, however], Mark Waid's "New Riverdale", the Tania Del Rio "Betty's Diary"-issues, post-reboot Ian Flynn Sonic, if we count non-mainline stuff) and I find them charming but often I find it just kind of repetitive. The Extreme stuff can be kind of repetitive too, but I personally find Super-Hero action more entertaining than comedy. However, their highs are also much higher (Moore, 2017 Youngblood, I really liked) in my opinion. I will admit, that I have more nostalgia for them and I am always kind of happy to see new ones even if they aren't the greatest comics in the world, so that made the call I think you are icctrombone's new best friend. More Archies for me.... .webp) ...and looks like this in 'landscape'
