When I post in a thread, and click on the Preview button to see my post, nothing happens.
When I do post, the thread always jumps back to the first page after I post.

When you click Reply it takes you to Preview by default, but lets you type in said window for some odd reason. If you click the BBCode tab to type your post and then click Preview it'll show the post as it'll appear.

I'm relatively sure this is the nature of our host software and not anything we can control directly.

It's actually a pretty good set up, IMO.. it basically always shows you exactly what will post, unless you tell it not to (via clicking on the BBCode tab)

Editing quotes is impossible for me in the preview tab. It always either deletes everything (but keeps the quote bubble) or puts what I'm saying in the same bubble as the person I'm quoting.

It's a little more cumbersome than the old board, but it only took me a day to get the hang of it.
Again, this is not something that we have the ability to alter. It's the nature of the host software.

Oh, I wasn't complaining. Discovering the BBCode tab makes everything simple enough. Just an oddity (perhaps only for me).

No. It REALLY is odd/cumbersome. Totally lacks intuitiveness, so far as I can tell.

Editing quotes is impossible for me in the preview tab. It always either deletes everything (but keeps the quote bubble) or puts what I'm saying in the same bubble as the person I'm quoting. It's MUCH easier to edit quotes on the BBCode tab. You just have to make sure you don't mess us the 'quote' address, and make sure it ends with[/quote]. You can, in fact, even copy the quote source code (the big address line) and split it into parts, you just have to end each part with an [/quote].
